Hey guys welcome back to cooking with Tammy live I’m Tammy and today I’m gonna show you how to make my absolutely delicious devil egg salad sandwich guys yes sounds absolutely yummy that’s because it is and first and foremost let’s introduce these ingredients and let’s get started guys right here as you can

See we have a pot filled with boiling water and our boiled eggs here’s the trick though guys I have my eggs in ice water yes but I turn the stove top off because in order to get a nice egg guys or should I say a nice boiled egg what we

Need to do is have our boarder come to a rolling boil place our eggs carefully without breaking the shell into the water for one minute one minute and then we are going to turn our stove top off and allow our eggs to sit in the water

The hot water for ten minutes and I show you the difference between an egg that was boiling for about thirty minutes versus an egg that was literally boiling for one minute and sitting in the water for ten any way moving right along we also have some bacon because we’re going

To incorporate some bacon with our egg salad and we have some mayo of course Dijon mustard diced onions you can use I’m using yellow onions for this particular recipe but you can also use red onions as well and I have some smoked paprika as well as salt and

Pepper oil of course and I have two buns right here as well with some butter so without further ado let’s get started alright I am gonna take our eggs out of the boiling water because they’ve been sitting in the water already for a total of eleven one-minute boiling and ten

Minutes resting so I am gonna take these eggs out of this hot water by the way guys how is everyone doing I have all as well now that our eggs is out of the water what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna fry our bacon because that’s

Gonna take a little time then we want to use our time wisely so I’m gonna turn the stove top on I love this pan to get hot and then we’re gonna add a little oil but in the meanwhile what we gonna do is we are gonna shell our eggs and

All we have to do the shell our eggs it’s just basically hit it against any surface lightly gently is what I should say and by the way if your eggs are like too hot to handle all you have to do is have a bowl of cold water or of course running water

From your kitchen sink either or here all right we are gonna get the shelling mm-hmm and even if it’s not hot I like to this is hot but anyway even if it’s not hot I still like to place it in the cold water just just to get off any

Excess shells because you don’t want any shells up in your egg salad because who wants to bite into a show that’s like oh it’s so distasteful goodness I just want to play say here for now all right and we are gonna repeat the same process

But first let’s add some oil to this pan and we about to fry by bacon I’m using turkey bacon for this particular recipe but of course you can use pork bacon any bacon that you like place it up in there I love to hear the sizzle of bacon

What we gonna do is we’re gonna cut it up into like little bite-size pieces and make bacon bits because of course bacon makes everything taste even better as we all know get the shell or place it up in the water and we are down to our last

Egg and let me check on this bacon once more I’m gonna fry it a little bit crispy for this particular recipe but it’s totally up to you as far as like if you want your bacon fried hard or somewhat on a you know somewhat of a softer texture totally up to you but

Because I’m gonna do like the bacon bits I’m gonna let us allow it surprise somewhat hard not so hard though don’t want to break any seat all right we are done gonna place a napkin because we’re going to take our bacon out and we want all of the excess grease to drain or

This is perfect Yep you do this make sure all the oil is out of the bacon we are gonna cut our bacon up into bite-size pieces and of course you could do two at a time if you’re using a knife obviously you just stack the bacon and get to choppin I had

To make sure it was done mmm it’s really good trust me while you’re cutting your bacon you’re gonna be doing the same thing you probably end up eating even more than me as long as you have enough bacon left for your egg salad as I say always make

Sure you fry extra just in case just in case you want to indulge a little bit more than you’re supposed to make sure you have some extra on hand cut it up all right I think this size should be good what do you guys think this size

Should be good right because we still want you know we want some texture not only texture we want to be able to taste that bacon inside of the egg salad anyway I’m gonna put this to the side and we are gonna move on to our eggs our

Eggs yes we are gonna cut into our eggs and I’m gonna show you the difference when you allow your eggs to boil for one minute and sit in the water for ten minutes all right first is an egg that was boiling for about literally 20 to 30 minutes look at

The difference look at the difference big difference and here’s the thing not only is the color much different but the taste and the texture is so much different if you want a nice smooth creamy texture or definitely boil your eggs the way that I told you to because it makes the

Ultimate difference when it comes to taste trust me on that anyway I’m not gonna cut through all of the eggs but what I am gonna do is I’m gonna take my fork and just basically press on the eggs and break it up yep it makes such an ultimate difference

Like I said as far as taste and not only for presentation purposes it looks so much better you have this bright yellow yolk it looks so much better than having you know a green yolk so much better alrighty this looks absolutely beautiful you haven’t even added anything so it

Just yet but it looks beautiful and the meanwhile what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna use that same pan that we was frying the bacon in and I am gonna turn it on and that well that’s in there I’m gonna leave that bacon oil because what I’m

Gonna do is I’m gonna cut into these buns and I am going to tell Starbucks no pun intended of course but I am gonna toast these buns up and get them ready for when our delicious deviled egg salad is finished they’re ready to go where’s that butter all right got some butter

And we’re just gonna lightly butter the buns the buns just like this just lightly butter don’t have to add too much not trying to go into cardiac arrest all right I think my pan is big enough to accommodate all four buns all four slices and the reason why I’m

Toasting it is because it’s gonna taste even better there’s nothing better than a nice warm toasted bun it’s absolutely delicious and to me it brings out the flavor in the food even more and it’s so oh when you bite into it is nice and soft goodness gracious

And just check on it periodically cuz you don’t want to burn it of course and I am gonna turn it down to low make sure everything is good when everything’s to cook in a timely fashion and yes perfect all right let’s continue working on our

Eggs to this bowl we are going to add some Mayo now of course add as much Mayo as you like as little bit or as much as you like we’re also going to add some Dijon mustard however if you have regular yellow mustard you can add that

As well does it make a difference and to this I’m gonna add my yellow onions if you have red onions add that as well it’s totally up to you whichever you prefer and I’m gonna add a little bit of smoked paprika and we are gonna combine

All of the ingredients as at this point we could just pretty much incorporate the eggs with the mixture we don’t have to really mash it with the fork because we already did that earlier or if you’re looking for texture basically now if you’re not looking for any texture and

You want it to be really mashed then obviously you’re gonna go indie and you’re gonna mash it even more pretty straightforward right dice and nothing complicated we’re also going to add a little pinch of ground black pepper as well as take this off a little salt there’s a pinch to give it even

More flavor and we are going to combine everything once more not to mention we need to add our bacon can’t forget about our bacon oh no siree Bob add this bacon to the mix and we are gonna get the stirring mmm hmm this looks really really good

And by the way if you have any chives or anything you can definitely add chives or even green onions if you you know if you prefer it gives it a nice color contrast mm-hmm this looks absolutely beautiful and it smells great too nevertheless is eggs
