EASY BEEF MUSHROOM BARLEY SOUP

Ingredients:

3 Tablespoons Oil
2.5 lbs Sirlion Steak cut into small pieces
1 Very Large Onion
2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
1 Bag Baby Carrots Diced
4 Stalkes of Celery Chopped
4-7 Cups Water or Beef Stock
Beef Bullion to taste if using water
2 Tablespoons Gravy Master
1 Cup uncooked Barley
1 package Sliced Mushrooms
2 Cups Cut Fresh String Beans

Instructions:
1. Heat Oil in a stock pot and add Steak and Onions, Sautee for 5 minutes
2. Add Carrots & Celery, cook another 5-10 minutes
3. Add Beef Bullion, Water and Gravy Master.
4. If using Beef Stock skip the Bullion.
5. Add 1 Cup of Barley
6. Bring to a boil
7. Add Mushrooms, cook for about 15 minutes.
8. Add String Beans and more Stock or Water if to thick, I added another 3 cups.
9. Cover and simmer on low for 30-45 minutes or until barley is tender, meat melts in your mouth and veggies are all cooked.

If your barley keeps soaking up your broth, just keep adding beef stock or water with bullion. Some like their soup really thick and some like it more soupy..Its up to you.

Bay Leaf
Fresh Parsley
Corn

Hi friends welcome back to my channel it’s Arlene if you love a delicious beef mushroom barley soup then watch this video super easy to throw together and guess what guys the video is only two and a half minutes long so stay tuned I start by heating up some oil in a stock pot

And I added two and a half pounds of sirloin steak cut up tiny with one large onion and I’m just gonna saute this down for a little bit about five minutes after that I add two nice eating tablespoons of fresh chopped garlic continue to stir that

Next in I add some chopped carrots and celery I’m gonna cook that down for another five or ten minutes next I’m adding some beef bouillon you can use beef stock if you would like I like the bouillon it’s a little bit stronger and I always use nor I’m adding some Gravy Master

Gives the soup a real nice dark Rich color plus add some flavor and here I’m adding four cups of water but I do end up adding um more water later it’s one cup of coffee going in now I’m gonna cook this until it comes to a boil

Next I’m adding one package of sliced mushrooms see how it absorbs the water so I do add like another three cups of water next goes my string beans and I’m just gonna cover this and let it simmer for a good 45 minutes and look at how beautiful thick delicious

The meat is fall apart in your mouth the vegetables were super soft and yeah look at how beautiful this soup turned out so there you go guys a beautiful delicious quick and easy soup to throw together I hope you make this for your family thank you so much for tuning in

  4. I’m hearing the rumors that WW is changing this month, it’s sounding similar to Blue! Hope to see some WW or shale I say Weight Watchers recipes (since they’re back to their original name.) Hope all is well. Soup looks great!
