How To Make The BEST CINNAMON RUM RAISIN RICE PUDDING: A CINNAMON DELIGHT!

Rico Soul Italia Eats Homemade From Scratch Cinnamon Rum Raisin Rice Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
——————
Rice: 1 Cup Of Long Grain Parboiled Rice.
2% Milk: 4 1/2 Cups
Butter: 1 Tablespoon
Sugar: 100 Grams (1/2 Cup)
Ground Cinnamon: 1 Teaspoon For Rice Mixture. (Before Serving A Sprinkle On Top Of Bowl For Added Flavor & Garnish)
Cinnamon Stick: 1
Vanilla Extract: 1 Teaspoon
Heavy Cream: 1/2 Cup
Raisins: 1 1/2 Cups
Rum: Just Enough To Submerge Raisins

Instructions

(Use Preferably A Pot That Is A Non Stick Pot For This Recipe)
1.) Add 1 1/2 Cups Of Raisins To A Cup, Bowl, Or Measuring Cup & Add Enough Rum To Submerge Raisins.
2.) Then Place 4 1/2 Cups Of 2% Milk Into Pot & Turn Heat To Medium.
3.) Add 1 Cup Of Long Grain Parboil Rice To Pot
4.) Add 100 Grams (1/2 Cup) Of Sugar To Pot.
5.) Add 1 Tablespoon Butter To The Pot.
6.) Add 1 Teaspoon Of Ground Cinnamon & To The Pot & 1 Cinnamon Stick To The Pot & Bring Pot To A Simmer.
7.) Once Pot Comes To A Simmer & Reduce Heat, But Don’t Reduce Heat Too Much So That The Pots Contents Stop Simmering, You Want It To Be On A Low Simmer.
8.) While Pot Is Simmering Keep Pot Covered, Stirring Occasionally Every 3 To 4 Minutes, For The Next 35 To 40 Minutes, Or Until Rice Has Absorbed All Liquids.
9.) Add 1 Teaspoon Of Vanilla Extract, & Stir It In Well.
10.) Then Add The 1/2 Cup Of Heavy Whipping Cream & Stir It In Well.
11.) Remove Cinnamon Stick From Pot.
12.) Strain Raisins From The Rum, Then Add 1 1/2 Cups Of The Rum Soaked Raisins To The Pot & Mix In Well. Make Sure That Your Rice Pudding Is At The Consistency That You Want. For Less Creamier Leave On Heat Longer. For Creamier Rice Pudding Leave On For A Shorter Period. You May Want To Add A Tiny Bit More Cream If It’s Not Creamy Enough For You.
13.) Once You Have It To Your Desired Consistency You Can Serve This Rice Pudding Warm Or Cold. If You’re Serving It Warm, Take A Nice Size Serving Spoon & Place Rice Pudding In Desired Bowl Or Dish. Sprinkle A Tiny Bit Of Ground Cinnamon On Top & Enjoy.
14.) If Eating Cold, Place Pudding In A Baking Dish Of Some Sort, Preferably Like A Casserole Dish Type Bowl, Place & Press Plastic Wrap On Top Of Rice Pudding, Place In The Fridge Until Chilled & You’re Ready To Serve it.

Here we are Rico solal eats and today we’re going to make a cinnamon rum raisin rice pudding I urge you YouTube fam to watch this video to the end but most importantly follow this recipe to a tea it is certainly a dessert that you want to add into your

Repertoire we’re going to serve this warm today it’s very very comforting especially on these cold winter nights so we’re not going to mess around round we’re going to get into this video bonea te and Enjoy all right here we are Rico solo TI eats and today we’re going to make some rice pudding right in this pot here for starters we’re going to add 4 and 1/2 cups of milk that’s two cups that’s four cups and this here is a half a cup so

That’s our 4 and 1/2 cups of milk we’re also going to add 1 cup of Rice we’re going to add 1 tbspoon of butter adding a half a cup of sugar going to add one teaspoon of cinnamon into our mix here I’m just going to stir all this In Almost forgot to add my cinnamon Stick E All right folks it’s been about a half hour not quite though about a half hour 28 minutes to be exact since we put our rice in and as you can see it’s starting to thicken up pretty nicely going to let that simmer for just a little while longer Okay as you can see it’s really pretty much thicken now and almost all the fluid is gone and we’re going to add our heavy cream in just a moment and we’ll add our vanilla extract as well as our raisins which we have soaked in some rum okay we’re going to we’re going to

Take our cinnamon stick out okay now we’re going to add in our teaspoon of vanilla extract here’s our teaspoon of vanilla extract now we’re going to add in our half a cup of heavy whipping Cream This right here now has a nice and creamy consistency and now we’re going to add our raisins all right this is our raisins that we soaking in some rum and we’re just going to add this to our we added a cup and a half which might sound like a Lot now we’re just mixing it in we going to have a very raisiny a well raisined rice pudding like I said we had those raisins sitting in a in some rum they were submersed in rum and uh yeah this is we’re we’re just about ready to

Eat we’re just about ready to Chow Down it’s pretty much at the consistency that I like so we’re going to serve this warm we’re just going to add a little cinnamon on top and then uh we’ll be good to go okay folks looks like our rice pudding is all finished nice thick creamy

Let that rum go to waste we got some Coca-Cola in the freezer and we will be having uh the rest of that rum okay but as for this has a nice little rum taste with the raisins the rice is perfectly soft the texture of it is perfect the sweetness is right on

Point little um cinnamon sprinkled on top what more could you ask for people this is rice pudding done right y’all know I’m not going to let y’all down all those raisins I load this up with about a cup and a half of Raisins and like I said the sweetness is perfect sprinkled cinnamon gives it nice little Added Touch the rice texture is perfect and that rum in those raisins gives a nice little rum Taste and for you non- drinkers that’s optional you don’t have to add rum to your raisins but we let our raisin soak in rum for about an hour or so that’s it folks that’s it we’re going to do what we got to do with this and I hope you enjoyed the video follow
