Just the supervisor today so now we’ve got our grated cheeses we’ve got Swiss and Grier and they have both been covered in some corn starch we’re going to add the cheese a little bit at a time so that way we get a smoother fondue we’re not even halfway through adding
The cheese and I can already say looks much better than the worst one okay we are silky smooth a little bit of dry mustard some Cherry Brandy and a little pinch of nutmeg now this is ready to serve oh yeah that puts the worst one to
Shame like it’s so much better it smells Divine and it was taking a lot of my energy not to eat that cheese before we were done

It’s also not internets or strangers job to be accomodating or coddling strangers’ kids, a menace is a menace and I as a stranger don’t have to deal with another persons responsibility, so let’s not bully children and all but don’t expect me to be nice honestly I don’t have the energy for that

I'm sorry, but rubbing the garlic on the pot is no where near enough garlic. Might as well just leave out the garlic at that point 😂
If you add a tiny bit of garlic paste to the pot it will help the cheese be even smoother, something about garlic oil is an excellent emulsifier

Is cherry brandy typical? I’ve only had cheese fondue like twice in my life, which is such a shame. It’s so delicious, I’ll risk a night of lactose intolerant misery for it lol

The best way to get rid of the lumpiness and stringiness of cheap cheese is to use or make an emulsifier, i forgot how you make it but its like 2 ingredients and you can google it

Before I thought fondue was just melted cheese with 1-2 other ingredients to make it thick but not very did it cross my mind for a while that wine was needed for fondue- 🫕
