Hey guys Dave here from Easy country cooking and cooking chair here’s the thing it’s Sunday and I want a roasted chicken but not a traditional roasted chicken you know where you just stick it in the oven and carve it up so I decided to do a roasted chicken with sausage

Bell peppers and a bit of hot peppers came out absolutely incredible you got to try this so let me show you how to do it okay guys we’re going to get started here with a good siiz hot pepper grab up the old Cleaver and cut this into about three good siiz pieces

Same thing with a red bell pepper I’m just going to cut the faces off and make these pieces fairly large because when this bakes up it becomes so sweet and so juicy and so good I think you could put some green or yellow peppers in there

Too okay just go ahead and toss these into the bottom of a baking dish along with some shallots and whole garlic cloves about three garlic cloves and four shallots then we’re going to grab up four hot hot hot Italian sausages and begin to slice them up and here’s the

Thing guys I’m using a hot italian sausage I really like the heat but you know you can use a mild or a medium or you can know you could even use honey garlic if you like you know entirely your choice then just go ahead and toss those sausages over top of the veggies

You know we’re forming kind of a bed here this is looking so good okay now a drizzle of olive oil I’d say oh you know maybe a couple of tablespoons something like that a really good dusting of the old saltation I don’t know it’s entirely

Up to you but you know a teaspoon even more ground black pepper because I like my ground black pepper ground black pepper yeah that’s it and a good heaping teaspoon of Italian seasoning that I use on just about everything followed by a bit of oregano oregano however you want

To say that and of course guys we’re going to give these a good mix up and this is going to create a really good bed so when we put the chicken on this is going to be so good imagine that chicken with the bread bell peppers and

The and the pepper and the shallots oh and the seasoning so good now speaking of chicken we’re going to take a whole chicken and lay it over top of that bed of veggies and sausage then take our handy dandy brush and brush some melted butter all over that chicken into every

Little nook and cranny and you can do the underside too if you want I just don’t usually bother and I do tie the legs and Tuck the wings back so they don’t you know burn up and stuff like that season it with some salt about a

Teaspoon just make sure you get old over the top and get everything of course again a whole bunch of ground black peep a ground black pepper yeah having trouble saying that today for some reason a little dusting of dried th because you know Thyme and chicken go together really well some garlic powder

You know I just have to have my garlic on my chicken although we have whole cloves I just put some over the chicken too and a bit more Italian seasoning now here’s the thing guys some people say Dave that’s a lot of seasoning well I really don’t know you know I’d rather

Have things overseason than under but you can let me know in the comments section below because I always found even when I was growing up that people do not season enough my Ants uncles my mom even never seasoned enough but let me know Below in the comments section

Anyway enough you yaen we are going into a 390° fhe 190 Celsius preheated oven for about an hour and a half after an hour and a half we is DED and just look at this guys doesn’t this look like the perfectly perfect perfect roasted chicken so let’s get the old kify out

And cut into this leg and see what we got and just look at that juicy perfectly done at least in my humble opinion oh oh oh Perfection and wonderfulness whatever it looks good I hope I got this shop but you take that knife and push on the edge of the breast

And that juice just comes out of there so oh it looks so good so let’s kind of grab up that quarter guys and put it onto a plate yummy along with those sausage and peppers and everything else so we’re just going to set this alongside of the

Chicken and there’s some juices here I mean you can pour the juices over some master you can make a gravy out of it if you like but as for me I’m just going to spoon some over top of that chicken and there you have it my friends our roasted

Chicken sausage and veggies I mean life does not get any better but don’t be going anywhere because as always we have our tasting to do all right let’s cut in here guys and see what we have of course we got to get some got to get some chicken here

Dave my friend yes on my wife & I , but I think I will have to spatchcock the chix & cut in 1/2 , to much heat for the girls so I will make 2 pans & use mild sausage with no peppers & it will not surprise me if they want broccoli in lieu of no peppers , lol , going to have some grits with butter on them when done & a fresh whole loaf of Italian bread to sop up juicesas as side items. Keep your stick on the ice pal.
