Advert @gr_eat_dk Last weekend we had an enjoyable visit to GR-eat, a Greek Shop and Restaurant in Frederiksberg!
We were warmly welcomed by George and Evelina, the friendly Greek couple behind GR-eat.
We began our visit by going downstairs to the shop which is a real treasure trove of Greek products! Products include herbs, canned foods, olives, chocolates, rusks, coffee, biscuits, pasta, frozen goods and more!
Maro, who has lived in Greece, was thrilled to spot so many familiar items.
After browsing through the shop, and of course also purchasing a few favourites, we sat down to have a drink while we listened to some live music.
We very much enjoyed the performance by the Greek musician! Be sure to stay updated on upcoming events at GR-eat by following their Instagram.
We rounded our evening off by sampling some of the Greek dishes from the restaurant!
We shared a plate of Giouvetsi, Chicken Kontosouvli and a plate of Tzatziki. All the dishes were based on Evelina´s cherished family recipes and were delicious! For dessert we were treated to Galaktoboureko and Baklava. And, to make it even more perfect, we savored and enjoyed two Greek Coffees with our dessert!
GR-eat is a great spot for snacks, meze, or a warm meal and of course the place to shop for some of your favourite Greek products.
