The nicest Risotto I’ve eaten and it’s cooked in the Ninja Foodi Max 15 in 1 in just 17 minutes!!! It has a beautifully rich and creamy texture and all the effort of cooking it on the hob is removed….love it!

Hi everybody and welcome back to my channel tonight I’m making a nice quick and easy dinner to show you and we’re going to be making a risoto something that I’ve not shown you on the channel before going to keep it really nice and simple it’s just going to be flavored

With some butter and some Parmesan of course you can then take that furan add extra flavor to it if you like so this is kind of like the basics version you could add say butternut squash or mushrooms it’s really versatile really delicious I’m serving mine with some

Breaded chicken this evening and it’s a nice quick family dinner very few ingredients which you’ll see up here on my ingredients list so let’s start making it it’s going to take less than 20 minutes straight into the ninja pot you’re going to want to add your rice

This is an aboro rice so perfect for this type of recipe to create a risoto straight in the bottom of the pot like that now we want to add some flavor so I’m adding two teaspoon of Italian dried herbs a teaspoon of garlic powder we want A4 of a teaspoon of black pepper

Now I’m just going to roughly do that by eye because it’s pretty difficult to grind that and be sort of accurate with it at the same time and we want half a teaspoon of some salt and then to that I’m adding some chicken stock which is 900

Milliliters I don’t know if I mentioned earlier that the rice that I’m using is 20000 G we want to put the lid down and go over to the middle section which is your comi Steam and then we’re going to select steam air fry temperature is as

We want it on 200 and we’re going to select the time down to 17 minutes Press Start what this means is it’s preheating and that’s just building up the steam going to take around 10 minutes is to do this and just to note that you don’t

Have to worry about the valve at the top that is purely for pressure cooking only this is absolutely fine to have the valve in any position ition I may have just lied to you in said it it’s was going to take 10 minutes I think that’s

Taken about four minutes it was so quick probably because we used the boiling stock that’s really helped speed up the process just a few minutes left on this now I haven’t even opened it up it’s so tempting isn’t it but I wanted to just leave it let it run its time so what’s

Going on in there is that the chicken stock is creating the steam which is cooking the Roto and then OB obviously to finish off we’ve got that kind of air fry which going to make a nice baked texture to this risoto here we go let’s have a little look inside so that has

Finished cooking and I’ve added some butter and Parmesan now it’s really optional to how much you want to put in obviously it’s very naughty um so ideally 2 tablespoons of some unsalted butter and then parmesan w wise um I think you’re looking at anything between sort of six

To eight tablespoons so it is quite a lot but that is going to make this so rich creamy and indulgent and cheesy and it’s going to taste absolutely amazing and raso really isn’t the same without giving it that texture looks pretty good to me I’ve actually decided to add some

Of of my homemade pesto to this so that is my sort of optional extra doesn’t need to be a lot but as I’ve made it I want to use it it tastes so so good oh it’s so vibrant and green so I’m going to mix a little

Bit of that through and if we want to add a little bit extra we can I’m just s of seeing how that’s going I think a little bit more would be good absolutely incredible who would have thought that you could make risoto you know we know you know when

You normally make it and you had to add a bit and it takes ages on literally I’ve just walked away and left this the ninja is such an incredible piece of Kit this looks such a good dinner I’m going to go and plate up now there it is

Plated up that gorgeous parmesan risoto and of course I’ve got my pesto in there as well and I’ve got a piece of breaded chicken on top looks a fantastic dinner and I can’t wait to try it risoto is one of those things probably is not my favorite dinner but I’ve changed my mind

That was so good and so easy to make that the ninja takes all of that effort out of making a risoto and suddenly it becomes a really quick easy midweek family meal but also I have to say I would serve that to friends and family

You know if I had a dinner party and I wanted to make a risoto then hands down I would do it in the Ninja because it was so delicious I loved having the extra pesto running through that to add whatever flavors you want my homemade pesto recipe I’ll link that up above for
