*Banana Split Cake With Whipped Cream & Chocolate*
Every kid has tried (and loved) a banana split before. It’s literally BANANAS how delicious they are! Since banana splits aren’t exactly a wintertime treat and we couldn’t wait any longer, we came up with this super simple, extra delicious banana split cake, topped with chocolate chips, almonds, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup. Embrace your inner child and give it a try!

_Ingredients:_

– 8 bananas
– 2 eggs, room temperature
– ½ cup sugar
– ⅔ cup flour
– 1 tbsp corn starch
– 1 tsp baking powder
– caviar from 1 vanilla bean
– ¼ cup powdered sugar for the topping
– 1–2 tbsp chocolate chips
– 2 cups heavy cream, whipped
– ⅔ cup chocolate syrup
– 2 tbsp toasted sliced almonds

  1. Y'all are so clever. As the price of vanilla beans would require I take out a 2nd mortgage on my house, I'll use vanilla bean paste. It'll still be yummy.

  3. Interesting! I know about banana bread, but banana cake is new to me… intriguing! I may just have to try it… cream for summer and perhaps warm custard for winter. Thank yoy for yet another novel idea (btw, there are vegan cake recipes available for those on a tight budget).

  4. This is a classic? I've never heard of anything like this before.
    Im curious what a banana tastes like when it's baked without being mixed into a batter like banana bread, for example. I would have thought it just turned into a sugary mush, but I guess not. Interesting.
