Hey, friends! Today, I’ve got a fantastic recipe for delicious Japanese-style pancakes that you’ll absolutely love. Pre-melt 2 ounces of butter, then grab a bowl and add 8 ounces of all-purpose flour, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and half a teaspoon of salt. Mix everything well, make a well in the flour, and crack 3 eggs into it. Start whisking the eggs and gradually add 1 cup each of warm milk and warm water. Whisk until the batter’s smooth without any lumps. Next, add the melted butter, a quarter teaspoon of crushed cinnamon, and a quarter teaspoon of vanilla. Beat everything well again with a whisk. Now add another cup of warm water and whisk until perfect! Cook these over high heat without any oil, and when one side turns matte, flip it gently. Remember, don’t overcook to keep them moist!   1. Try replacing the Cinnemon with Cardamom, might need to half the amount if it get to dominant for you taste and see how you like that.

  3. I am French and have using that dough recipe for years. It is quite common both in Normandy and also in Belgian cuisine.
    Instead of vanilla and cinnamon, I also add a coffee cup equivalent of Drambuie, Grand Marnier or Cointreau liqueurs.
