Welcome back to restaurant scam or not where we see if restaurants are fleecing us this is fried pickle Edition every time I go out to eat I always find myself ordering the fried pickle it’s something about that zesty sauce accompanied by the crunchy tart pickle that just makes everything perfect but
Last time I ordered them they were about $13 so let’s see if we can make it at home for a fraction of the cost but still be as good you only really need flour semolina flour pickles and extra virgin olive oil to make this happen but wasn’t really that good I mean it
Had the crunch but the flavor was nowhere near a good fried pickle so not a scam

Boi get that plastic spoon up out the hot oil.
do you add in the cost of labor for all the employees, the cost of ultitlies, the taxes? good rule of thumb times what ever it cost for the food and times it by 3 to make any profit
try pan fried pickles
last time i made them, they were really good
You used olive oil try peanut or creamy shortening even coconut oil would be a good replacement
Who tf uses olive oil while deep frying?
Use vegetable oil dude, or peanut oil if you're feeling fancy.
Double fry em blanch than fry
Or try a wet pancake batter I’d make it a bit more wet
This man used a plastic spoon in hot oil, used olive oil to deep fry, didn't season his flour. Gee I wonder why they didn't turn out great
