Hi everyone! Welcome to my kitchen😊 Today I’ll show you the delicious Turkish Flat Bread (Pita) recipe. First, put 210 grams of flour in a bowl. Make a hole in the center of the flour. Then add 180 ml of warm water. Add 5 grams of instant yeast, 4 grams of white sugar,

3 grams of salt and 20 ml of vegetable oil. Let’s mix all the ingredients. The dough should be slightly tacky. Cover and leave it to rise for 45 minutes. Now let’s prepare the first of 3 different fillings. Add 200 grams of ground meat in a bowl. Grate 1 medium onion.

Divide the grated onions equally between the two bowls. Add one of them into the bowl. Chop 1 green pepper (30 grams) into small pieces. Chop half a red capia pepper (30 grams) into small pieces. Add the green and red peppers into the bowl. Now add 3 grams of salt,

2 grams of red chili pepper And 2 grams of black pepper. Knead all the ingredients for about two minutes. Now let’s prepare the second filling by grating 200 grams of mozzarella cheese. For the third filling chop 150 grams of spinach. Heat a pan over high heat and add 20 ml of olive oil.

Then add the chopped spinach. Now let’s add grated onion we have prepared before. Now add 2 grams of salt, 1 gram of black pepper And 1 gram of red chili pepper. Stir and remove from heat. After it cools down, add 80 grams of grated mozzarella cheese.

The dough is still sticky, so sprinkle some flour on it to knead easily. Sprinkle flour a few times and knead for 3-4 minutes. Stop kneading when the dough has this texture. Now divide it into 3 parts and roll them. Cover them and rest for 15 minutes.

Sprinkle some flour and start rolling out the dough. Place the dough on a tray lined with greaseproof paper. Roll out the other dough balls in the same way. Now put the minced meat filling on the dough. Flatten the filling slightly with our hands. Let’s fold the edges of the dough.

Now put the spinach and mozzarella filling on the second dough. Finally, put the grated mozzarella on the last dough. Place 4-5 slices of sausage on it (I used Turkish style sausage). Brush the edges well with egg yolk.

Bake in a preheated 230 degree oven until the edges of the dough are golden brown (about 13-15 minutes). Each oven has a different temperature setting, so check the edges while cooking. Spread some butter on the edges. I am Turkish and Turks love this food very much😊
