Fajitas: All You Need to Know (Playlist)

The first Aroma that got me was the Habano I can still smell it’s like man oh man now the Habano pepper was at one time the hottest pepper on Earth 140 times hotter than the jalapeno this was the original hot hot hot pepper I’m fixing to go fire up the grill and cook

Some fajitas and I’m almost not wanting to do it I want to sit down with a bag of chips and eat all three of these we’re back in the kitchen again with another hot video today we’re going to show you three Salsas using the Habano pepper if you like hot this is the

Pepper for you we’re going to make one that’s fresh we’re going to make one that’s sauteed and we’re going to make one that’s a delicious creamy cooked salsa the kind you would put in a squirt bottle to squirt on your tacos our first salsa is going to be a fresh salsa very

Similar to P Theo we’re going to use three Roma tomatoes one Habano one garlic clove half of a Texas honey sweet onion and a squeeze of lime first thing I’m going to do is Dice up my tomatoes I do like to take this little core out

When it’s a fresh salsa so I’m going to set that aside over here basically just going to be about 1/4 in to 38 of an inch thick I’m going to go ahead and and uh cut my habon too while we’re at it and I’m going to dice it up real fine so

That it can blend really well with the salsa pretty much called a salsa Kuda which means a raw salsa want to dice it up real fine like that and we’re going to use about half of this honey sweet onion friends if you like them you can

Put more next up is the garlic and I’m just going to smash it up really good then just chop it up real fine as fine as I can SMH it up a little bit more we’re going to take a little squeeze of lime here let’s just put a whole lime in

There why don’t we some limes are real juicy and some like this you got to really squeeze the juice out of them cuz it ain’t got enough we’re going to take about a handful of cilantro approximately like everything I always say it’s always to taste when you chop

The cilantro you can smell it it brings out some extra Aroma from it brings out the flavor too and the last thing we’re going to add in here friends is 2 tpoon of vinegar salt is always to taste we’re going to put a little OG in here so I

Have more garlic a little bit of salt and some black pepper you guys know I love black pepper in my Salsas so that’s the reason I use that all right now we’re just going to mix it all together here blend it really well that salt will

Bring out some of the moisture from the tomato and the onion and just make this a really wonderful fresh Habano salsa I like to let it set for about a half hour in the refrigerator and let all the water from the tomato and the onion come into the salsa and

Then it tastes really good it Blends better and it turns out really really amazing all right friends so there you have it our delicious fresh salsa with havano in it again this is for people who like extra hot pido this should be really really good and if you want to

Crank the heat up even more throw two or three have it in there if you can stand it let’s move on to salsa number two and this is a medley of different peppers that really just adds a really great flavor I always love aano and havano

Salsa with a little onion and garlic but sometimes it needs a little more punch a little more pow and the Habano is going to give it that and it’s going to add another delicious flavor to the salsa we have two sanos two jalapenos two Habano peppers and two garlic cloes half of an

Onion and five Roma tomatoes all right let’s crank up the heat and get this thing going we’ll be done just in time to take a little break take a sip of beer and then move on to the petas all right my friends we’ve got a nice little

Boil going here I’m going to call it a light simmer going to take about maybe 5 minutes or 10 at the most I’m going to start pulling out Tomatoes cuz they are ready to go all right it’s time to get these uh jalapeno peppers out they’re

Done too into the blender they go I’m going to get some of this water that the chilas were boiled in I don’t think we need a whole lot I’m going to say that was about half a cup maybe we need about a handful of cilantro in there so we’re

Going to drop that I’m not a big fan of stems they’re okay but I prefer to not put them in there we’re going to shake us a little bit of OG a little bit of that Perfect Blend of salt pepper and garlic I know more or less how much I

Need in here that’s about right the way we go the first Aroma that got me was the Habano I can still smell it’s like piercing my nostrils man oh man I’m going to look at the texture to see if that’s about what I like and I’m just right you can blend

It longer if you want it really runny you can add more water man I can smell that my I’m like look at that beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful just the right amount for that bowl honey is’t that a gorgeous salsa just so pretty I love those colors all right time to move to

Salsa number three this is going to be probably my favorite wait a minute they’re all my favorite all right my friend we are on to salsa number th that means three I got to experience and taste this one at a restaurant one time that a friend of mine owned and it was

Fire but it was delicious just because I like heat so this is 12 janetos two garlics we’re going to use some oil probably a little bit more than half a cup alog together and we’re going to use 2 taspo of vinegar no OG on this time we’re just going to use straight salt

Because that’s the way I experienced it the first time and I’m duplicating it about as close as I can get so here we go we’re going to put a little bit of oil in here let it start warming up it doesn’t take a lot all right we’re going

To drop those in there I know there’s a lot of you out there cuz I read the comments some of you like it even hotter than I do uh when I was younger I was definitely much hotter than what I am now I’ve toned it down a little bit

We’re going to roast these just a little bit we’re going to sauté them toast them just a little bit now those habanas are popping so be very careful where’s my glasses I’m going to wear these glasses that my friend Nick gave me well he didn’t give them to me he left him here

Thank you Nick these stoves only go so low so sometimes you got to kind of pick it up get it a little bit further away from the heat thank you Nick for these and thank you Michael Salado for these Michael forgot these here last time he was here

All right we just want to blister them up a little bit té them a little get them cooked the cooking just brings out another awesome flavor you can smell the aroma it’s starting to really get to my sinuses right now as a matter of fact I

Love what I do man I love my job thank you so much for watching you guys remember to like comment and share tell me in the comments below what’s the hottest salsa you ever had how hot can you go so you see we’re just roasting it

A little bit giving it a little salt you can see that on these you can see that on the garlic right here all right my friend I’m going to turn that off I got this heat turned off I’m going to let that cool off just a little bit before I

Get it into the blender all right there we go we want to get that oil in there too we’re going to first drop about 3/4 of a cup of water more or less we’re going to do 2 teaspoon of vinegar one two I’m going to say that’s about 2

Teaspoons approximately salt is always topress let’s go ahead and start pulsing first we’re going to add a little bit of oil all right my friend we are ready to pour this delicious smelling Habano salsa into our little glass bowl here y’all be really careful cuz this stuff

Is very very spicy hot look at that beautiful beautiful color look how nice and creamy it is just gorgeous this salsa is rich and creamy and it smells amazing my sinus is tingling actually just from being in front of it this is going to be hot but

Delicious I love the smell I love the aroma we are ready to taste all three Habano Salsas today got my chip we’re going to start from left to right the same way we made them I’m going to stir this up a little bit you see how all

That water came out that’s what I like to see I like a nice juicy salsa like that I like to get all the flavor that I can get out of them I’m looking for more havano man this is a really good flavor I mean again it’s basically a p Theo

It’s got a very very mild bite and I honestly think that the habanos to be not quite as hot as they used to be cuz I remember when I used to get a havano I mean it was fire I can get the flavor I got a little burn going cuz you know

Haveto has Delayed Reaction so I have that little light burn going but anyway it tastes amazing it tastes wonderful and I love it all right let’s move on to salsa number two see what kind of heat level we have here this has two Habaneros two sanos and two jalapenos along with the other

Ingredients that good the first one that hits me honestly flavor-wise from the peppers is the Habano I mean God what can I say it’s super delicious oh man it’s good I’d like a little more salt in that one but I’m going to leave it alone for now that one’s good this one’s

Gooder does that make sense I just like the flavor the medal of flavors dancing in my tongue let’s move on to salsa number three which had 12 habanos let’s see if this one actually has a bite all right baby man that flavor is so good Rich creamy that one has a little

More salt than I probably should have put but it’s good it’s very very good definitely has more bite I can feel it my head’s sweating a little bit my tongue’s a little bit on fire gosh man you know I was thinking that I was going

To pick a favorite out of the three you know but honestly all three of them are just fantastic in their own way they’re different I would say this is mild hot hot and this is hotter obviously we have more peppers in this one and even more havle Peppers over here this tastes

Amazing this tastes amazing this tastes amazing all of them are fantastic I’m just in love I’m fixing to go fire up the grill and cook some fajitas and I’m almost not wanting to do it I want to sit down with a bag of chips and eat all

Three of these we actually have a party to go to tomorrow so I know what I’m taking I’m taking these two cuz I’m eating that one tonight I highly recommend you try them I hope you do I promise you’re going to love all three of these saces thanks for watching don’t

  1. I'll need to try these. My favorite thing with habaneros is just chopped habaneros and sliced whiteyellow onions pickled for an hour in the fridge with salt and fresh lime juice. I put that shtuff on everything.

  2. Ive never tried to make a pure habanero salsa with the oil like that. I’m going to have to try that soon. Love your channel 👍🏼 I think the hottest salsa I have had was a pico de gallo I made. It was a 7 pepper fresh pico. Jalapeno, Serrano, habanero, poblano, and 3 citrusy super hots. It was amazing flavor and VERY HOT 🥵

  3. That third salsa is dangerous for the fact that it resembles cheese sauce yall can just imagine taking a totopo to that salsa 😂😂😂 then the heat just smacks you ohhh i thought it was salsa de queso!!

  4. I would consider myself a chilihead. I have dried Trinidad Scorpion and dried Carolina Reaper powder that I use from tome to time.
But when it comes to simple, reliable everyday heat, nothing beats the good old Orange Habanero. It's a classic with a wonderful taste and to be honest, you don't *really* need more heat than that.

  5. I few years ago, I grew my own peppers. I had habanero, Chocolate Bhutla, Yellow Scorpion, and tabasco peppers. I was making a salsa to test friends and coworkers, so I had at least 6 of each in the skillet with a few tomatoes, some onion and garlic, and a little oil. I was fine, but when my wife woke up on the other side of the house she started choking as soon as she got out of the room. That same day she ordered me a camp single burner and informed me that I would be cooking salsa outside from then on. 🤣. The salsa was good, but Very hot!

  6. Love some habeneros! Grow them now as well… Salsa is hot enough when it makes me have slight heat hiccups and makes me sweat a little under my eyes! 😂 Love the videos brother!

  7. Used to take my homegrown habaneros to my Mexican restaurant friends …when they'd make pico for me, they'd sometimes add cucumber…it was so good! Added a cooling effect…so different

Edit: ghost pepper addict now. My habs did terrible last year…bland and watery…too much rain.
I also think habaneros aren't what they were 10-15 years ago…over-bred

  8. Hottest thing I’ve had was a salsa in French Guiana, an evil blend of cayenne and horse radish. Burned your mouth and sinuses at the same time.

  9. the hottest salsa i ever had was when i was visiting the family of my friend who live in cancun. we went to his abuela's house where she made a potato soup with a special yucatecan style guacamole, but my friend's tia said that i liked spicy things, so abuelita got 3 habanero peppers, charred them on the grill, ground them in the molcajete with some lime juice and gave it to me so i could make my food spicier. i ate it all to prove they couldn't bring me down 😤

  10. Senior Arnie, what is that neat hot plate range head you're using? I like that the propane tank is incased, and it looks super portable! Thanks for your super fun and entertaining food porn!

  11. I made me some salsa today, it's got a kick to it but needs more habanero and I put a little too much black pepper but I can't stop eating it

  12. your channel is great. You remind me of my Mexican grandpa who would always make Mexican food with salsas all the time especially his salsa verde with avocado.

Ps. Hottest salsa I ever had was Carolina Reaper from myrtle beach South Carolina

  13. you know it only makes sense that habaneros used to be hotter. i remember when you couldnt really find them in your mainstream grocery store and you had to grow them from seed, and of course a lot of people would take the seeds from the hottest peppers to plant and make even hotter habaneros. nowadays i dont think mainstream farmers are doing anything as involved as that so you do get on average less spicy peppers. ideal growing conditions make less spicy peppers as well so something grown on a large scale for retail will be way different than jimmy down the road who doesnt ph test his soil and doesnt always remember to water them on a schedule will make for a more stressed and therefore more spicy pepper

  14. In Nashville, a pizza place called Five Points Pizza has a habanero cream sauce that looks just like the creamy salsa you made. Try it on pizza if you’d like – it’s amazing!

  15. I'm impressed with your effort, and to make it even better, I'd like to invite you to send KHAL one of your own cooking tutorial videos.+*-*-*
