Sausage & Cheese Stuffed Manicotti

Hi guys welcome back to my channel today i’m going to share to you my version of sausage and cheese stuffed manicotti First add salt in a large pot with boiling water cook the manicotti in boiling salted water until slightly softened about 5-7 minutes Do not fully cook the pasta yet so it’s easier to fill with stuffings now my pasta is half cooked using a slotted spoon transfer the manicotti pasta in the plate set aside and let it cool completely next using a large non-stick skillet add olive oil over medium heat add in chopped onions

2 cloves of minced garlic and three pieces of fresh mild italian sausage People normally use ground beef but i like using italian sausage because it’s already fully spiced and very tasty Cook until the onion is translucent and the meat is slightly browned next i’m adding fresh cracked black peppers if you’re using ground beef you may add salt or beef seasoning if you like once the meat is fully cooked transfer in a large bowl and let it cool Now my sausage has completely cooled down i’m adding 400 grams of ricotta cheese mix well until everything is well Incorporated next i’m adding 3 4 cup of grated parmesan cheese you may use any cheese of your choice or whatever is available Next spoon about a cup of your favorite spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce and spread over the bottom of your baking dish now we are ready to fill our manicotti with our cheese and sausage stuffing Then arrange the pasta in the prepared baking dish Repeat the process until all the pastas are fully stuffed I just arranged the stuffed pasta in a single layer in my baking dish so they cooked evenly Now i’m adding more sauce on top you can be generous on the sauce and cover the whole thing with sauce but this is good enough for me Then i’m adding grated mozzarella cheese on top Bake this pasta uncovered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees fahrenheit until manicotti is fully cooked and tender manicotti pasta is ready it’s a very delicious comfort food stuffed with cheese and meat and you can also add vegetables like cooked spinach too you can serve this for lunch or dinner

Or any special occasions this is a great dish to serve if you want to impress your friends and family if you can’t find manicotti pasta shells in the market you may use other kinds of pasta just look for a tubular pasta that is big enough to fill like the caneloni shells

I hope you like this video and try making this for yourself thanks for watching You

  2. Excellent recipe but you should fry the meat for 5-6 minutes before adding the onions, cook for four more minutes and add garlic. Cook and mix one more minute

  3. Omg! What an awesome easy recipe 🙂 I had lots of ground beef left over from my shepherds pie which had veggies in it. Lol I know….. 🤨 weird…. but didn’t want the meat going to to waste. It came out unbelievable! Wish I could share pictures on here. Thank you so much for your recipe 🤗
