This egg salad recipe was inspired by a local restaurant here in town and it was so good that i went out of my way to find the recipe so stay tuned because i’m gonna share the secret ingredient with you hey guys i’m myra from low carb

Love and today we’re making an egg salad recipe that is creamy delicious and of course it’s low carb so i already have all my ingredients laid out now of course for egg salad the one thing you’re gonna need for sure are eggs now i’ve already just to kind of keep things

Rolling i already pre-chopped some now you have to boil them for at least nine minutes now if you’re doing just like a hard-boiled egg for just a snack then i would do six but for this salad you do want to make sure that they’re fully cooked so you’re gonna go about nine

Minutes now i’m gonna go ahead and just do kind of like a rough chop here and of course you’re gonna obviously cut this to your liking you can do them small big however you’d like so we’re adding our mayo now i’m using avocado mail but of course you can use

Your favorite mail of choice we’re doing mustard i’m just using regular yellow mustard but if you have dijon you can use juice on we have our green onion celery now you want to try to get your celery and your onion as minced and just like if you could shred it or even run

It through a food processor like it would be even better but we try to get as small as we could okay then we’re gonna do a little salt it’s just a little salt and pepper to taste a little paprika and the secret ingredient is butter so

Butter is gonna make them taste nice and velvety and smooth now if your eggs are still warm then you can just add the butter right in and everything will just like melt and combine but ours has already cooled down so i did melt my butter but you’re gonna see the consistency of

This right now but i’m telling you it’s such a game changer if you just add the mayo all by itself of course it’s gonna taste good like that’s literally how i grew up eating egg salad but adding the butter literally just makes it like velvety smooth

Okay so i used a fork just to kind of break up the egg now if you want it more like a dip then you just separate the yolks from the egg whites then you can mash up all the eggs the yolks and chop up like dice up the egg whites super

Super fine and it’ll give you more of like a paste not a base but like more of a dip versus a salad so what we made today is more of an egg salad and as you can tell like i still went ahead and used a fork just to get it like a little

Creamier but it’s definitely not like a dip this is more of a salad you can top like your actual salad put it on a piece of toast eat it with chips like growing up i always ate it with chips or on a toast okay so i just toasted some gluten-free toast

I will recommend you something, if you like egg salad, I tried it and we did not believed, that something that simple can be soo goood – Egg butter: Just to soft boil 3 eggs (it´s important for yolks to stay creamy, with hard boiled eggs it´s not that good) – let them cool, peel, and whisk them up with 50grams of softened unsalted butter and add pinch of salt. Mix until creamy and enjoy! So simple, but soo delicious.

  15. The honey touch is to replicate a French sauce called gastrique . It’s made of heating sugar and vinegar. I make a maple gastrique to top off deviled eggs. There is a fine dining restaurant in Colorado that serve deviled eggs like this and it is very delicious . Good work LCL😊
