ONE MINUTE CHOCOLATE FROSTING RECIPE

Ingredients

2 Tbsp / 30g Butter
1 Cup / 125g Powdered Sugar / Icing Sugar
2 Tbsp / 12g Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1-2 Tbsp Hot Water

Instructions

Bring some water to the boil in kettle or in a small saucepan over high heat. Once it is boiling set aside.
In a medium sized mixing bowl add the butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and salt.
Pour over the hot water and use a whisk to combine the ingredients together until whipped and smooth.
Add more water if needed for a thinner consistency.

Notes

Use the Chocolate Frosting immediately as it will start to thicken as it sits.
More hot water can be added to thin out the consistency if it has set.
The recipe can easily be doubled or tripped to make a larger amount.

I’m sharing with you probably the easiest and most simple recipe ever, one minute chocolate frosting. It’s sweet, full of chocolate flavor and incredibly delicious. Perfect for cookies, slices, cakes, cupcakes and brownies. Welcome to recipes by carina where I share

With you how to make classic and simply delicious recipes, make sure to follow my page or subscribe for a new recipe each week. We’re going to start off with 2 tablespoons or 30g of softened butter. If you’d like

The full recipe for this one minute frosting it will be on my website as well as the full measurements listed in the description box below. Add the butter to a medium sized mixing bowl along with 1 cup or 125g of powdered sugar

Or icing sugar. These are both the same ingredient just different names in different parts of the world. We’re also going to need 2 Tbsp or 12g of unsweetened cocoa powder and 1/2 tsp of salt. All the chocolate flavour is coming from the cocoa powder for this frosting so make sure

You’re using the best quality you can find, this makes such a huge difference. As you can see the ingredients for this recipe are simple kitchen basic that you probably already have on hand and bonus there’s no whipping butter in this recipe so all you

Need is a bowl and whisk no stand mixer or hand mixer. Lastly pour in 1 tablespoon of really hot water. We may need more but it’s best to start off with less and add more later so you don’t get stuck in that trap of more sugar, more water, more sugar.

Use a whisk to combine the ingredients together until smooth and whipped and your done. This recipe is so easy, so simple and so delicious. Perfect when you want something quick and less heavy than a buttercream. Thank you so much for watching and I will see you in my next video.
