Additional Notes:

Chicken Selection: Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs for this casserole. You can choose either option based on your preference. Make sure to cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.

Potato Variety: Opt for starchy potatoes like russet or Yukon Gold, as they hold their shape well during baking. Cut the potatoes into uniform chunks to ensure they cook evenly.

Vegetables: Feel free to add vegetables to the casserole for added flavor and nutrition. Diced onions, bell peppers, carrots, or peas work well. Sauté them before adding them to the casserole to soften them slightly.

Sauce or Creamy Base: You can use a prepared sauce like cream of chicken soup or make a homemade creamy base using a combination of chicken broth, milk, and flour. This adds moisture and flavor to the casserole.

Cheese Topping: For an extra touch of indulgence, sprinkle shredded cheese over the casserole before baking. Cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend of cheeses work well. The cheese will melt and create a delicious golden crust.

Baking Time: Bake the casserole at a moderate temperature, around 375°F (190°C), until the chicken is cooked through, and the potatoes are tender. The baking time will depend on the size of the chicken and potato pieces, so check for doneness by piercing them with a fork.

Garnish: Once the casserole is out of the oven, garnish it with fresh herbs like chopped parsley or chives to add a pop of freshness and color.

Leftovers: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat them in the oven or microwave until heated through. The casserole can be enjoyed for up to 3-4 days when properly stored.

Hey guys how you doin Dave from cook and share here today we’re doing up another simple easy comfort food chicken potato casserole I know you’re gonna I’m gonna make this so let’s get started I’m gonna get started here by seasoning up three boneless skinless chicken breasts with

Some salt pepper the amount you use is entirely up to you but the real trick of this dish I think is lots of pepper then we’re gonna add some oil to a preheated pan throw the chicken breasts in and fry them over medium-high heat for about 8 to 10 minutes Of course you’re gonna flip them over halfway through the frying process oh by the way if you haven’t already subscribed click that button yeah that one right there that way you’re never gonna miss a video okay now the chicken breasts are beautifully done we’re gonna go ahead

And slice them into bite sized chunks and set them aside in a bowl next what you want to do is add in two medium sized potatoes that we’ve just cubed up here a can of cream of mushroom soup a cup of sour cream and you can use lighter whole sour cream depending on

How diet conscious you are a cup of grated cheddar cheese and I’ve used the mixed up but you can use whatever you like a touch more salt pepper grab up a spoon and give it a quick mix while you’re watching look for something unique in this video and drop us a

Comment below then what you’re gonna do is put your mixture into the casserole dish of your choice Smooth it out a little bit not too much you still wanted to look a bit rustic and put it into a 350 degree preheated oven that’s 177 Celsius for about 45 minutes after about 45 minutes and this smells just great we’re gonna put another cup of cheese over the top

I should mention you don’t have to put this back in the oven it’s gonna melt on its own give it a quick sprinkle with some parsley flakes and you’re good to go so there you have it our chicken potato casserole Hmm this is outrageously good guys it’s creamy cheesy the chicken is so tender it’s just a great comfort food for this recipe and many more great recipes head on over to cook and share comm give us a thumbs up and most of all subscribe thanks for watching and we’ll see you next time

  10. I love your recipes because they are easy and tasty with just a few ingredients. If I have other stuff it gives me a good base for getting creative, but it can still stand on its own if I'm short of ingredients. We had this for dinner. I didn't have the soup or shredded cheese so I used a sauce that I mixed up using dehydrated cheese powder. I added a little onion and garlic powder. Thanks! It was very good!
