To make Italian sausage spaghetti so today I’m at Kroger’s I’m actually sitting outside Kroger’s about to go in I’m going to carry you guys along with me guys so I know some ingredients I need I need Italian sausage um okay Italian sausage I need Italian spices I need Italian spaghetti sauce but I

Think I can use regular spaghetti sauce if I can’t find Italian spaghetti sauce well isn’t all spaghetti sauce Italian I’m not for sure that might be a dumb question right I mean I guess the only dumb question is asked it’s the question that’s not asked so we’re going to look

For the Italian sausage the uh spaghetti uh noodles and the spaghetti sauce I think there’s Italian seasoning I can use I’ve never made this dish before but as I said before I want to try to make different dishes besides uhoh I’m getting dark guys besides always making

Um chicken and fish now I’m not saying I may not cook fish with this dish but if I make fish with this dish I’m actually going to get me like some cod fish I can bake in the oven with some parsley flakes on it some lemon some real lemon

Um the tomato paste I looked at I’m sorry the tomato sauce not tomato paste tomato sauce I had looked at when I was looking at the video on how to make this Italian Dish so you know what I don’t think the the jars or tomato um

I’m sorry the jars of spaghetti sauce is in this AIS but I would not make that dish without at least adding some of these what should I go with the no salt added diced tomatoes or the fire roasted SAA style diced oh no it is going to be Italian

Dish so you know what I think I’m going to go with a can of you know what no I’m not I think I’m going to keep it traditional I’m going to go with the regular diced tomatoes and I got to find the spaghetti sauce and I’m not sure if that’s I don’t

Think that’s spaghetti sauce is in this aisle right here I don’t really see [Applause] it okay guys I’m not 100% sure which Italian sauces to actually use for the spaghetti so right here you have a option of the mile Italian sausage then you have the sweet Italian

And then you have the hot so I’m definitely not going to go with the hot um oh also you have the option to have the grounded uh Italian sausage which is not bad but based off the video that I did I’m going to go ahead and go with a

Pack of the um the mild Italian sausage so you guys see we got the mild Italian sausage we have the olive oil we went with the um pompam extra virgin oil and I also found the um blurred up I found the Italian seasoning that I was

Looking for I thought it was going to take me a while to find it but I found it fairly easy so now all we are missing is the spaghetti noodles and garlic bread and maybe a small pack of cod fish so let’s go find the spaghetti noodles oh yeah the spaghetti noodles the

Codfish and what else was it I said oh garlic so let’s see if we can find a garlic real quick so again this is going to be my first time ever making this um Italian sausage spaghetti so I’m going to show you the first thing that we do

Have so I went with the angel hair pasta noodles which which is the really really thin um spaghetti noodles again I’ve never made this particular dish before but I decided to go with the angel hair pasta noodles um I have some Texas toast garlic oh Texas toast garlic bread so I

Got all this of crow guys not Watermark this time I end up finding a pack of cod fish but this is not the Cod that I actually was looking for I wanted like the square chunks so I’m going to save this codfish for a whole separate video especially being the fact that I’ve

Never actually cooked Cod before also before we start I will be moving the camera from here to here so you guys can see the close-ups of what I’m doing and how I’m doing it uh I went ahead and bought a bottle of this extra virgin olive oil that I’ve never actually used

Before so I’m going to be coating my Skillet with this right here to fry the Italian sausage and the onions in I went with Italian um spaghetti sauce this is the prgo Italian sausage and garlic and this is the reason why I decided not to use fresh garlic because just about

Everything well the sauce already has garlic in it uh the toast already has garlic in it so I got me some onions I went ahead and pre-cut the onions up for you guys I wanted to make like things a little bit easier for the video instead of like

Having to chop everything up for you guys and aside to the onions I took that whole entire pack of mild Italian sausage and I actually cut all that sausage up so this is all five sausages cut up into little small chunks and I’ve already got my water on for the spaghetti noodles

Which is pretty easy they said to put a little bit salt inside that water the reason for the boiling water first is so the noodles don’t actually stick so that’s the reason for the boiling water you don’t want to put the water that’s like putting meat inside of cooking oil

While the oil is not hot yet it’s just going to sit there and like soak up all that oil so I went ahead and did that also have my strainer already sitting in the sink for the uh spaghetti so when I ready strain the noodles off the strainer is already in there

Again I got a lot of stuff prepped up before I turned the camera on so I’m going to turn this off and bring you guys in really close so you guys can actually see the process of what I’m doing so guys I knew I was forgetting something earlier so I also got the

Italian seasoning that was Rec recommended that I get this for the mix of this right here so I got so I went ahead and turned my eye on medium right now so I can go ahead and get the onions and the meat cooked together and we’re

Going to go ahead and start off with this oil I’m not for sure how much of this oil to use but obviously I’m not going to use a whole lot of this oil so we’re going to go ahead and start by okay got that extra layer of security

On there I’m so used to using like butter and cooking oil I’ve never really tried this um olive oil actually I’ve never used olive oil cooking so we’re going to go ahead and gently put this meat in here and spread it out very carefully so I don’t get

Burned put all that meat in there just like that you don’t have to use the whole pack of sausage like I did guys I I use this whole pack of sausage because I don’t like if I don’t use it I don’t know what I’m going to do with it later

On it’s probably just going to sit in the refrigerator or sit in the freezer and I doubt it if be making like another thing of spaghetti here anytime soon I’m just going to pour that right in there just like that right my hands here and I do have

Some new clean uh some new utensils that’s already been ran through the dishwasher uh when I’ve been um going out buying new cookware utensils I make sure that I ran everything through the dishwasher before I actually start using it but here’s the Italian seasoning guys

I’m not sure how much to use so I’m going to use quite a bit of this because there’s a lot of meat and there’s a lot of onions in here so we’re going to go ahead and pour that over there like that I was saying earlier the reason why

I didn’t get the fresh garlic it’s cuz I had a lot of stuff of garlic in it the uh spaghetti sauce has garlic in in it the garlic toast has salt in it I mean garlic in it and then this is also Italian seasoning got to give it that Italian

Flavor we’re going to season this up a little bit as we go guys so put a little bit more that on there I see I don’t think this stuff is salt here or anything like that no it’s not this doesn’t really have like a I guess it just gives it that

Beautiful look to it and now we have already opened up our box of spaghetti so this water is boiling it’s been boiling for like a few minutes now so I’m going to go ahead and drop these noodles in there the noodles are going to get done fairly fast the

Video that I watched earlier on how to make this particular dish right here it says that you can make this dish within 30 minutes so I’m going to try to see if I can keep it around that time frame for you guys and not make it extremely long

But you guys know how it is doing these videos I take you guys to the store with me show you guys the products that I’m buying you know etc etc we’re not going to use the whole box but we’re going to well I don’t know let’s just see how it Cooks

Now I know some people take these noodles and they actually break them in half and then put them inside the pan but I’m not going to do that so we going to go ahead you know what we got we might as well go ahead and just use the

Whole thing go dump the whole thing in I know these things absorb a lot of water so I made sure that I put a nice amount of water in here before we started um the video I put a nice amount of water in here now these noodles will

Cook down and I’ll be put the lid the lid on these noodles to let them like go for a little while and just for good Marg just we’ll clean up our mixing spoon one more time just just to make sure that we good to go so this right here is actually what

I’m cooking for Super Bowl Sunday and you know guys I was even going to do a video for Super Bowl Sunday cuz I’m like you know what nobody’s going to really watch the video people going to be so in tune with Super Bowl but at the same

Time I know everybody in the world is not going to be watching Super Bowl I mean me what I love about the Super Bowl my favorite part of the whole entire Super Bowl is half time and I think Chris Brown was it Chris Brown Chris Brown or somebody uh has like a big

Surprise coming so I do like surprises because you never know like who’s going to be performing um tonight so that’s going to be really really exciting to see who’s performing so whenever they say surprise you know that it’s something big okay the noodles are starting to actually dissolve down into

The water which means I’m going to go ahead and actually there we go I’m going to go ahead and put the lid back on it to bring it back to that boy oil and I just pray that I’m doing it right cuz I don’t want my noodles to

Just like stick together like that’s the worst thing about making this this these pasta noodles is you worry about the noodle sticking together it comes out in a big old Clump and that’s what I’m trying to avoid doing and hopefully I can Master because again this is not a

Dish that I’m usually cooking all the time now I’m now I won’t be putting a lid on this uh right here I’m going to keep this lid free and just let it cook um without the lid on it plus the smell that’s going through the house right now

With the onions and the mix of the Italian sausage going through there it’s just crazy I was going to get some peppers but like some green peppers but I know that the sauce has its own stuff to it and I’m going to put just a little

Bit seasoning on here a little bit salt and pepper and I’m not going to add too much salt and pepper to this because the uh sauce I believe it’s going to already generate its own flavor and I end up buying diced tomatoes which I come to realized I don’t even really need the

Diced tomatoes so what I’m going to do guys is once this meat is all done this is going to be my sauce I’m going to consider this my Italian sausage sauce for the spaghetti noodles so once the meat is done or I think that it’s done

To perfection I’m going to go ahead and pour this sauce in here and Stir It Up I’m going to let this simmer really really good to give it that flavor instead of taking it like in most traditional households they take all the sauce and the onions and mix it all in

With the noodles I’m not going to do that this time I want to be able to separate all this stuff today in separate storage containers so I can have maybe to eat later on during the week my strainer right here hope you guys can hear me cuz I have the water on

And I have some cold water going now I’m going to go ahead and take and strain off these noodles real quick so we are coming close to being done guys I am I’m hoping the noodles is not real sticky so we going go ahead and rinse pour those out of there uh-oh we

Got a a little stickiness guys oh no my hands are clean so ouch so we didn’t have a whole bunch of stickiness to the pan Which is a really good thing so now we going to go ahead and let these cool off a little bit guys

Rinse them off with some cold water kind of put that shock on it real quick and they’re going to actually warm themselves up once I put that good delicious sauce over them and I’m going to show you guys how the meat and the onions is performing and I got about 10

Minutes 15 minutes before I actually start the process of pouring the sauce um over the meat and the onions that’s in the pan already now earlier I said that I wasn’t going to put a lid on top of the um the meat and onions while I was

Cooking however I will put the lid on top of the um product while it’s simmering real slow letting the sauces mix in and that way we can get the garlic bread already and this is what I love look at this look at those man that’s going to

Make for a nice spaghetti meal right there by the way my hands are very clean so I’m go ahead and turn this on to sprinkle a little bit it’s good thing about cooking you have to constantly wash your hands you got to continue wash your hands over and

Over and over these noodles came out next to perfect so they’re still a tad bit warm so I’m going try to keep some of that Warmness on them and the good thing is if I want to like heat the noodles up before I put the sauce on I

Can just run warm water over them so that’s that right there this is going to be a lot of spaghetti guys a lot yay check it out I wish you guys can smell what I smell right now that Italian sauage is cooking real good I didn’t really notice like a huge like I

Always always thought that like Italian sausage was expensive it is a little bit more costly than regular like sausage and stuff but I think that it’s going to be really well worth the price if I remember uh the price of this pack of Italian sausage I will put it in the description

Box in the video so you guys can know but I know that there was like five long uh Italian sausage sticks in there and by the way I did season this up a little bit more often camera as well as I did season up the um the

Um spaghetti noodles and stuff but I put like a little bit salt in the spaghetti noodles and like a little bit pepper but not too much because again the sauce is going to give it its own flavor so when I turn the camera back on I’m going to

Be adding the the final step which is the sauce and then we’re going to let it simmer so I have the meat all strained off I have all that excess oil strained off my meat I did that off the camera so now what what I’m going to do is I’m

Going to go ahead and take my Italian preo Italian sauce and garlic and pour it right over there and I turned my eye down to the lowest that I can turn it and I’m pretty much just going to use the whole thing use the whole entire thing and I’m

Going to see if I can Stir It Up with one hand while I got the camera in the other hand try to know if I can do this for you guys I could have left on the tripod but I wanted to give you guys like the best closeup

Because I don’t like I don’t really know how to pick Peppers out if that makes sense I don’t want to get the wrong ones and the crush Peppers be too freaking hot to where I can’t even enjoy the food my hands down guys this is probably one of the best

  2. A little piece of advice Damion…it's recommended that you don't rinse your cooked pasta, because the starch on the pasta helps the sauce stick to the pasta. When you rinse the starch off of the cooked pasta, the sauce and pasta won't adhere to each other very well…just thought I'd give you that tip.

  3. No vegetables? Eating vegetables before the main dish helps your food digest faster. Your gut needs fiber. Nothing you're eating has fiber. When eating meat it stays in your body for a couple of days. It is important to eat vegetables daily.

  6. You have to stir noodles often and add salt to the water before you boil it to keep noodles from sticking.

  7. Never rinse your noodles for hot dishes mr cryer only for like cold pasta dishes. The starch in the water is what helps the sauce adhere to your pasta
