Caprese Salad 🍅 🌱

One of my favorite go to salads with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. Topped with a deliciously perfect balsamic glaze!

Ingredients
Roughly 6-8 oz of cherry tomatoes sliced in half
8oz of soft mozzarella, we used Miyokos cashew mozzarella
Roughly 3/4 cup of freshly chopped basil
Olive oil
Salt
Balsamic glaze

Directions
Add your tomatoes to a large bowl
Pinch off a small piece of your mozzarella and roll into a ball
Repeat until you use all the mozzarella
Add to your bowl of tomatoes
Drizzle with olive oil, roughly 1/2 -1 tbsps
Season with salt
Carefully fold and mix well
Pour out the mix onto your serving plate
Drizzle generously with balsamic glaze
Season with salt
Top with freshly chopped basil
Optiona: drizzle with a small amount of olive oil
Serve and enjoy

What’s up y’all so today we’re going to be making one of my absolute favorites it’s this easy capres salad it’s got cherry tomatoes basil mozzarella olive oil salt and a little balsamic glaze it’s so good so easy to make enough talking let’s get started first up we

Want to take our cherry tomatoes that have been cut in half and place them into a bowl then we want to take our vegan mozzarella today we’re using moko’s cashew milk mozzarella we want to pinch off a small piece and then we’ll take that small piece and roll it up

Into a ball just like so and then place that into the bowl with the cherry tomatoes we’ll go ahead and repeat that with the rest of the mozzarella and place it in with the cherry tomatoes drizzle with a little bit of olive oil then we want to add in a little bit of

Salt once we’ve seasoned it with our salt we want to gently fold in the mozzarella into the the tomatoes so that everything’s evenly coated with the salt and the olive oil once we have everything mixed well we’ll go ahead and take this bowl and we’ll scoop out our tomato and

Mozzarella mix onto our serving plate once that’s all onto the plate we’ll go ahead and take our balsamic glaze and generously drizzle over all of the tomatoes and mozzarella mix and a balsamic glaze is basically a balsamic reduction you can either make it your

Own or you can buy it at the store once we’ve coated our tomatoes and mozzarella with the balsamic glaze we want to go ahead and take our freshly chopped basil and place it on top we’re using roughly about a/ a cup to 3/4 cup of fresh basil

Now we want to drizzle with olive oil which is optional and then season with a little bit more salt and that’s it it’s ready to serve up and enjoy and there you have this delicious capres salad I can can’t wait to try it all right here we go got to get a bite
