Crispy Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

These cauliflower wings are a favorite! Whether you are plant-based or a meat-eater, this recipe can be enjoyed by everyone. They are packed with flavor and have an addicting crunch! This recipe is completely plant-based, and you can substitute the honey for agave or maple syrup to make it completely vegan. Hope you enjoy and follow for more!

Ingredients:
-one head of cauliflower, cut into large florets
-fresh parsley for garnish
-spray oil

Wet Batter:
-2 cups of flour
-1 1/2 cups of cold water, plus more if needed
-2 tsp sea salt
-2 tsp black pepper
-2 tsp onion powder
-2 tsp garlic powder
-2 tsp smoked paprika

Breadcrumb Coating:
-2 cups of breadcrumbs
-same seasonings as above

Buffalo Sauce:
-1 cup of hot sauce of your choice
-3 tbs plant-based butter
-2 tbs honey or vegan alternative
-1 tbs garlic paste

Instructions:
-prepare wet batter in a mixing bowl; add water until consistency is similar to pancake batter
-prepare breadcrumb coating in another mixing bowl
-prepare a baking sheet with a wired wrack
-dip the cauliflower florets one at a time into the wet batter using your left hand; fully coat the floret excluding the stem and allow the excess batter to drip off
-use your left hand to transfer the floret into the breadcrumb bowl; use your right hand to gently coat the floret with breadcrumbs
-transfer the floret onto the wired baking sheet; repeat until all florets are coated
-spray the florets with oil and bake in a preheated 375 degree oven until golden brown and tender, about 30-35 minutes
-place a small pot on low heat and add the sauce ingredients; bring to a simmer and set aside to cool and thicken
-gently coat the baked florets in sauce and place back on the wired baking sheet to allow excess sauce to drip off
-transfer florets to a plate and garnish with parsley
-enjoy while warm!
