Game day is almost here and if you like football as much as me then your favorite part is the food. Today I am sharing my guilt free spinach-artichoke dip, perfect for game day or for any get together really. And today’s video is a part of Kin Community’s Game Day Snacks Collaboration.

So after you check out this video be sure to go and check out the entire play list so that you can get more great game based snacks recipes for your menu. Also be sure to check out last year’s game day episode, my buffalo cauliflower bites,

Because it is one of my all-time favorite recipes and favorite videos. It is a little bit on the kooky side, but its super fun. And on to the spin dip. Start by spraying down a large frying pan and sautéing your onions and garlic until the onions become translucent.

Then you can add your spinach and sauté until wilted. If you prefer you can use frozen spinach, and in fact you can skip this whole sautéing step altogether if you want, but I do recommend doing it because it adds a whole lot of flavor.

In a large mixing bowl, we will start with our greek yoghurt. This is going to reduce the amount of cream cheese we have to use without sacrificing any of the creaminess. Add your chopped up artichoke from a can or a jar, there is no sense messing with the

Real thing because it is a pain in the butt, your reduced fat cream cheese or neufchatel cheese, part skimmed mozzarella, garlic powder and salt and pep. Then you can add your sautéed spinach mixture from earlier and mix to combine.

In a large baking dish or I like to use a pie pan because its super cute, you can pour your dip mixture into it and spread it out evenly. And then you can sprinkle on just a little bit of parmesan cheese, just enough to cover the top.

Bake in an oven pre heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 to 30 minutes until it just begins to brown on top and it’s nice and bubbly. If you want it a little bit more brown on top, you can always pop it in the boiler for

A quick minute, but be sure to watch it because you don’t want it to burn. Allow to cool slightly before digging in and devouring. Remember that you can serve this with raw veggies or veggie chips, if you are looking for an even lighter option.

And there is a PDF download available in the description box below so that you can keep this recipe for later. And it is of course on mindovermunch.com. Now it is time for you to go check out all of the other awesome game day snacks recipes.

  7. Can I substitute plain lowfat yogurt for the greek yogurt? Will it ruin the recipe? Wanna make for the Super Bowl tomorrow.

  8. Making this but with full fat.. Just use veggies to dip with! Ya'll need to stop blaming the butter for what the bread did!

  9. I found out recently that if you wrap greek yoghurt in cheese cloth or paper towels in a strainer over a bowl and leave it overnight in the fridge, it takes on the texture of cream cheese. I did this as a substitute for cream cheese in a cheesecake and it worked perfectly. I bet it would work here too. I can't wait to try this recipe! Thanks for all the great videos!

  10. Just made this! Tho I must admit that I completely forgot to purchase the artichokes. It is absolutely delicious. Well done!
