This brown dust/ powder is easily removable by touch. And inside the dates are fine. Do you have experience with it. Thank you for answer

    your dates build yeast. You would survive it but i wouldnt eat it anymore 😀

    I’ve never seen this, but I can think of maybe three possibilities:
    -Sugar Coating
    -Yeast Growth
    -Cellulose Coating (I know it’s done with cheese, not sure about dates though)
