I just stumbled onto this: [Plant Based Arab](https://plantbasedarab.com/about/). There are lots of recipes to try on this site if you like Middle Eastern food. I haven’t tried any, yet, but thought it looked different and exciting enough to share!
P.S. My 85 y/o Mom just asked me if I’m, “…still on that weird diet??” LMAO. Yes, Mom. “Well, I just don’t even know what to feed you anymore. What do you eat for breakfast?” Oatmeal… PB and banana on whole wheat… the same exact stuff I ate for breakfast before going plant-based in Oct/Nov… LOL.

This is great. Thank you!
Cool! I love Arab vegan food, especially dishes that aren’t imitations of meat-based meals. My favourite cookbook I own is *The Vegan Mediterranean Kitchen*. It has naturally vegan recipes from all over the Mediterranean region, including North Africa and parts of the Middle East. So there are no meat or cheese substitutes or other ingredients you wouldn’t normally find in a typical pantry there. So you don’t end up comparing the food to the non-plant-based version, or feeling like anything is “missing”. It’s a great idea!
