Going to try to release every Friday so I need your help in the comments please write what topic you want to see next for the first ever smash or pass video we are doing cold salads that’s right we’re getting a little niche here a little specific and it started because I

Have some friends who live in Arizona and we share different things we find at Aldi that we like and I made some tuna salad and put some chipotle ranch in it and that chipotle ranch can be found at Aldi and they were absolutely disgusted

And then a few days later I sent them a picture of me making some chicken salad and I say do you like cold salads I was like you know what I think I do like cold salads how about you guys give me a list and I’ll rank them as a GMG

Exclusive so that’s the goal today at the top we have super smash followed by Smash then meh pass and hard pass only 13 salads chicken salad is the first we’ll start very basic very simple and I will say chicken salad for me is a smash I’m a purist though leave out the peans

Leave out the walnuts leave out the grapes I just want chicken celery onion and wet whatever whatever wet goes into it I’m all for it klaww is next and we will put Cola in the hard pass I think it’s one of the worst sides on Earth it

Has very little flavor uh besides bitter and Mayo I guess is what it’s just it’s just cabbage and other shaved vegetables that it’s horrible next up we have egg salad and I like egg salad but not a lot I think it’s missing something egg salad needs a little bit more to really move

Up this list it’s fine I’ll eat it if it’s provided for me but generally I don’t seek it out this one may come as a shock to a lot of you fruit salad I find to be very overrated in fact it is a pass I don’t want all of the fruits

Touching each other kind of it’s always it’s always during the summer it’s always on a warm day and so they start to Sag a little bit they start to get wilty they start to just leak their juices all over each other and then everybody’s stirring it up and it just

Becomes the sloppy wet ooey gooey sticky mess like I’ll eat bananas by themselves I’ll eat apples by themselves I’ll eat strawberries by themselves when you put it all together and you start mixing around and you inevitably add lemon juice so it doesn’t get brown it it’s not it’s not something that I enjoy

Salami a little cheese action colby jack to be exact and uh it’s it’s sometimes she even gets the grape tomatoes from the garden Cuts them up and throws them in uh pasta salad is one of my favorites full transparency I don’t know what ham salad is I think it’s sometimes is maybe

Like a baloney and a relish um it’s almost sweet the times I’ve had it it’s almost been just the sweet and salty mush it is deserving of the hard pass jello salad is another one where I’m not sure if I’ve actually had it I believe it’s like a whipped topping maybe a

Jell-O Mix uh maybe I’m not qualified to answer this but from what I can see from my research and I haven’t had it in years I don’t remember caring for it pass macaroni salad is just pasta salad’s vague cousin it doesn’t really do anything for me and sometimes the

Flavor is also a little sweet I don’t know people chop up those little pickles those little sweet pickles and put them in there sometimes uh it’s fine it’s meh but I would much rather have an Italian dressing flavored pasta salad than I would have a macaroni salad I’d also

Bad not putting it in Super Smash however I am hesitant to eat a lot of tuna salad I think there is sort of this reputation that tuna salad has as being gross I’m not going to go eat tuna salad from Subway but I will make my own and

Therefore I kind of see it as a chicken salad it’s a good solid meal and it is a smash I don’t really understand the draw of broccoli salad it’s a texture thing for me I like broccoli I love broccoli probably one of my favorite vegetables when steamed when warmed when salted

Lightly but putting it uh into bacon crumbles and cheese and a ranch flavor I don’t want to sit there and Munch on big cold pieces of broccoli that have been soaked in ranch and are also covered in bacon bit it’s just too much going on

And it’s it’s not for me uh but it’s better than these other three if I had to eat broccoli salad I would so it’ll be it’ll be just to pass last up is three bean salad and I know a lot of people have probably never heard of this

But there’s a bit of a story that goes along with it and that is why it’s included it is kidney beans um maybe like pinto beans and wax beans and sometimes green peppers um which aren’t beans at all but um when I was dating my now wife at Thanksgiving we went to her

Grandma and she made the three bean salad and I had it that day and I enjoyed it and I thought I’m going to be kind and I’m going to compliment this three bean salad so I said Grandma Dorothy this three bean salad is great I really I really enjoyed this three bean
