The most AMAZING Spaghetti I’ve Ever made in my life!! I made this batch for my Mom, and as I say in the video, if she doesn’t say this is the Best Spaghetti she has ever had, I will give her my Car!! Made with jar sauce, but I doctored it like my name was House!

What’s up everybody welcome back to my kitchen and thank you for coming to see what Billy B cooking today uh today is a sequel to the video I did last week um I did a chili for my dad right I asked my dad what his favorite

Dish was he said chili we made it check out the video uh it’s amazing um also while you’re here if you would uh over in this corner here click uh like and sub subscribe cuz trust me this video here is going to be amazing it’s going

To be something you’re going to want to do uh the sequel this video here is from my mom uh my mom’s favorite dish she said spaghetti thought it was going to be lasagna she switched it up evident you don’t like cheese I forgot don’t judge me um anyway so we’re

Doing a spaghetti from my mom today of course it’s going to start out with some ground beef no no it’s not it’s going to start out with I’m going to cook some bacon uh in my Dutch oven couple pieces just to get some bacon grease going and

Bacon grease is going to add a lot of flavor later on we’re going to crush out the bacon sprinkle it in that’s going to be delicious I got some uh some andul sausage that we’re going to be doing as well added with this got some fresh

Garlic um got these are those uh Mad Hatter peppers I told you about my best friend Dre how he grows um all these fruits and vegetables and flowers and fruit trees and everything in his yard well he gave me some more uh Mad Hatter Peppers we’re going to add this in mom

Don’t worry these ain’t spicy these are more like uh bell pepper except they’re a little more flavorful than a bell pepper if that makes any sense speaking of bell peppers we got a yellow and orange bell pepper cuz I like the color and bell peppers are at a freshh Frant

Aromatic flavor to the dishes and they’re not spicy at all neither M don’t worry about that these are going to be delicious we got half of velia onion of course the spaghetti noodles um and we’re going to add some roasted garlic even though I got I got

Fresh garlic here for garlic flavor uh we’re going to add this roasted garlic minced in the jar already don’t really have too much of a garlic flavor but it does have a good roasted flavor so that’s going to add some smoke um we got our fire roasted rotell

Tomatoes these are delicious these are going to add some smoke as well uh being fire roasted instead of and with a spaghetti dish uh spaghetti sauce excuse me um you want to use a tomato paste or instead of tomato paste you can use some Saito uh it’s a tomato cooking base

Basically what a paste would be doing uh sticking it up with tomato flavor but it’s got green peppers onions kantro and garlic and olive oil so this is a great base to use as well um I’m going to add a little bit probably add a little bit of this vegetable better than bullan

Just to give it a deeper flavor deeper rich flavor we’re going to finish it off with the parmesan cheese mom don’t like cheese but she does like parmesan don’t judge her uh and I know you see me skip over these I’m I’m a little embarrassed right I was

Going to make my own meat sauce my own spaghetti sauce um I had the recipe all wrote down and ready to go and had all the ingredients listed and how much I wanted to use um but just like the government says with the technology it

Takes to get to the moon um I lost it so we’re going to we’re going to do uh this classical roasted garlic tomato sauce which which is great it’s that’s a good size now this uh Ros Ros I hope I’m pronouncing that this is the best

Spaghetti sauce in a jar on the market um you can research see if you can find one better that you can buy the grocery store I bet you won’t find one uh this is caramelized onion flavored but Rayos that’s oh my God it’s delicious so even though I’m using a store bought sauce

I’m still going to add my zest and my flavors to it you’ll see what I’m doing um this is my mom’s favorite dish what we’re going to do right now is I’m going to fry up some bacon like I said so I can get some bacon grease to start this

Whole process and bear with me we’ll be right back all right so we got our bacon crisped up now we’re going in with our veggies let’s go and put our veggies in there I turn the heat down to about four uh we’re going to start out with the onions

That Sizzle that’s what’s suppos to here uh yellow bell pepper orange bell pepper let’s give out a stir so nothing burns the fls up we just want the onions to get translucent I’m sorry is that better we just want the onions translucent and uh what I didn’t tell

Y’all before is when I did the bacon uh I sprinkled on some uh some Rosemary where that some rosemary leaves yeah uh dried rosemary leaves but see all recognize those rosemary leaves uh if you’ve never tried Rosemary on bacon trust me you are doing yourself a disservice um so yeah I put some

Rosemary on the bacon just to give it a little more flavor a little more pop like bacon needs more pop but it’s got it now and give me a second I’ll bring you here to my pot and see how everything’s coming together all right so we’re just uh

Stirring up the onions and the bell peppers into the bacon grease till the onions get a little translucent and those Peppers start softening up some uh while that’s working I’m going to add my buddy Dre’s uh matad hat Peppers yes like I said these aren’t a spicy pepper they are

Like a little bit stronger bell pepper flavor but they’re going to add some amazing color and taste it just be another depth of flavor and that’s what we’re going for is depth of flavor cuz you can taste something and it’s like oh yeah that’s got a good

Taste to it but then you taste Billy Beast cooking and be like oh my God that tastes good o where’ that flavor come oh there’s another Flor and it just builds and builds so we’re going in with our hamburger meat like I said we’re going

To cook the uh we’re going to try to cook the onions down to where they’re almost disintegrate into the sauce that way uh mom don’t like the consistency of peppers I know people’s got a thing about texture I don’t understand I got a thing about flavor

But he eats his own don’t you judge my mama all right there we go just like I said we just want to keep it going uh want to keep stirring it cuz I don’t want to burn the vegetables but I do want to Brown this hamburger

Meat so bear with me we’re going to get this part done and we’ll be right back all right so you see I pretty much got the meat Brown and we got that much grease left but that’s bacon grease and hamburger grease and I’m going to waste

Any of it so what we going to do going to do a old timey recipe trick I’m going add some flour in here about a tablespoon and a half and we’re just going to whisk the flour in the Grease We want to get the grease cooked

Get the or grease cooked we want get the flour cook get all the uh flour taste out of it right get it cooked but that’s going to soak up that grease and it’s going to make a like a r and we’re going to that Rue is going to thicken up your

Sauce but still keep the flavor of that grease so you don’t have to dump your grease out right so as I’m cooking this flow you kind of see that I’m incorporating some of the meat with it just so it don’t Clump up and kind of helps it solidify the juices the

Oils then add some more your hamburger meat Stir It Up a little bit at of time let’s get your flour Incorporated in there and in the cast iron dust oven it’s okay to use a metal uh H know I just lost the word a metal whisk sorry it’s a little

Late Billy be drinking sometimes anyway but just get uh get some me incorporated with that flour and go ahead and bring it all together now I’m going with some uh andul sausage uh that it’s uh it’s precooked so we ain’t got to worry about you know pork being raw nothing like

That it’s precooked but it’s going to add that good smoked sausage flavor at this point I’m going to add a little bit of beef stock about a third of a cup just kind of kind of get it Incorporated and a little liquidy so it doesn’t burn anything before we add Our tomato

Bases all right see here so we got that in there that’s cooking up nice I’m going in with one two big teaspoons of Our safo tomato base that’s going to start just going to start the uh sauce I’m going going in with my can of Rell uh diced tomatoes uh the fire

Roasted trust me those are amazing if you’re not going for heat the heat I would say get the hot rellas those are great but we’re not doing heat cuz this is Mom’s uh but get the fire roasted that’s going to add some smokiness to it a little more depths of flavor to your

Tomatoes get that incorporated now now let’s go in uh we’re going with our Classico roasted garlic you hear that that fresh and then Rayos homemade this is a this is the homemade to the grocery store spaghetti sauce that is so good I’ve seen I’ve seen contests uh that this is

One more than one contest that that’s one for the best store bought spaghetti sauce um now I’m going with a/4 cup I’m going to put 1/4 cup of water in this jar and I’m going to shake it up see all that flavor and there’s all that flavor in the in there r

So put some water in there shake it up pour it in the other jar see now that’s virtually clean shake up the second jar pour that in it’s FR really clean too and uh very little bit of water was used in it then stir it all up get that

Liquid to the bottom cuz it’s still cooking on medium heat go ahead and uh add our I got five clothes of chopped garlic get that stirred up in the mix a lot of people and some dishes too I will I’ll cook the the garlic in a

Hot pot just to so you can smell it and then you add liquid so you don’t burn it but like I said this here it was starting to get a little warm on the meat I was trying to Brown the meat uh so I didn’t want to add my garlic I wasn’t sure

How how quick I was going to add some liquid to this but this Garlic’s going to melt in this sauce we’re going to let this sauce simmer for about 30 40 minutes after we add everything but just like my just like my chili I like to add

Stuff it’s just fun to cook in a pot right so now we’re going to add some roasted garlic uh I know I just put fresh garlic in there that was for garlic flavor this uh diced garlic and or minced garlic and water or vinegar uh that says water

Anyway it’s pretty much lost all its garlic flavor but the roast flavor ah you can smell it in the jar that’s amazing so I’m going in and it adds a it has great texture too little Bey bees of garlic so I’m going to add about a teaspoon and a half another the roasted

Garlic get that incorporated in oh man this is going to be delicious can you smell it can you smell it y’all close enough you should be able to smell it by now anyway always scrub the bottom me pot too that way nothing sticks nothing’s getting burnt up get your

Sides make sure you put the Butter Crust to crust on the bread get everything equal and whatever you’re doing all right so now just for S’s and G’s and if you don’t know what SGS are ask me in the comments I’ll tell you uh we’re going with a little bit of vegetable better

Than bullion uh just another layer of flavor another layer of flavor if you use a smush that out with your finger that’s about a teaspoonful right not much just a teaspoon now let’s go and I know y’all are wondering like when the hell you going to start working on them noodles

Well once I get everything Incorporated in here I want like I said we’re going to let the simmer about 30 to 40 minutes we’ll start cooking the noodles in cuz the noodles are pre-made also and they won’t take that long but I want all these flavors to marry

Each other like just it’s like a speed dating service I want you to sit at the table hi my name is hamburger meat hi my name is tomato Bay hi my name is andul sausage and then you go straight from there to the wedding chavel I want all these flavors to marry each

Other all right so now we got all the basics in there now we’re going with Billy Bee spices this where it gets crazy out so you know whenever I do a dish like this or some meats or soups or I always add what’s that y’all tell me what that

Is that’s that Umami powder right yes that’s going to add such a depth of flavor it’s going to give it a savoriness oh my goodness all right so we got the Umami powder we’re going with oregano oregano makes everything better and I don’t know if y’all know this but

When you go to Subway and they make you a sub sandwich they what else you want on it ask them for oregano they keep it under the counter oregano makes any sandwich better and uh we’ll do a spaghetti spaghetti is from where Italy so what we got to do some Italian seasoning don’t

Judge me I know it’s uh the spaghetti sauce is already seasoned but trust me when I tell you what I’m adding is going to make it better that’s what it’s going to do we going to add a little bit of cumin not too much cumin is pretty

Powerful that’s good now Mom don’t look at this cover your eyes I’m adding a little bit of cayenne pepper just a little bit just a touch for Taste and cayenne pepper helps with your respiratory system Google it trust me uh a little bit of garlic powder just cuz it’s garlic powder

And some other amazing stuff I’m going in with probably this is about a full teaspoonful of smoked paprika so I just want to get that in there and because it’s Mom and because it’s Mom I’m pulling out all the stops I’m going to give her uh some black truffle salt yes it’s got

Real black truffles in it and is salt so we’re going to make that the best we can for her all right let’s get this stirred up before we add any other I see it’s starting to take shape everything Incorporated don’t leave no seasoning on the side no season left behind on my

Sides get that incorporated look at look at that it’s so beautiful already scrape your sides scrape your sides scrape the bottom yes yes get it all up all right now it’s got uh one or two more tricks that we’re going to add a little bit of black

Pepper just for flavor just for Taste feel was like PE to taste then make it a little more Savory going in with some uh Apple smoke apple wood smoke cuz we use apple wood bacon so why not why wouldn’t you oh my goodness I can smell this already this is Del delicious oh

Man all right so I’m going to let this summer like I said about 30 40 minutes and uh in the meantime I’m going to cook this uh I’m going to cook these noodles these spaghetti noodles and we’ll be right back we’ll be right back oh while we’re uh while we’re waiting on

The spaghetti noodle water to get ready um one thing I I didn’t think to mention to y’all that I just thought about mentioning so disregard what I just said uh add uh add a good bit of salt to the water that’s going to help it boil and

It’s going to add a little bit of salt to your uh noodles give them a little more flavor but also add Add add a little bit of cooking oil a little bit of O I’m using avocado oil but you can use uh olive oil uh coconut oil vegetable oil you know whatever youd like and then uh just stir up cuz the salt’s going to sink to

The bottom so stir the salt up as the water’s getting warm and the oil like I said the oil is going to do this thing to keep the it’s going to keep the noodles from stick together so as that’s coming up to a boil it’s not yet but in a minute it’s

Going to come up to the boil I’m going to stir again just to get the salt Incorporated back with the oil and uh like I said we’ll just get the noodles done and we’ll be right back all right so we got the noodles where we want them I drained out some of

The water as you can see and they just got done as you can see um most chef videos that you see will be like oh do seven or 8 minutes in a boil on your pasta uh bull crap uh 7 eight minutes going to get you

Some crusty ass noodles uh I did these for about a little over 10 minutes probably 12 to 15 minutes right and you always just want to take your piece taste it and see how the consistency is to you see what you like don’t worry about what everybody else says boil them

Like I said with salt and some oil cuz you see ain’t none of them sticking together right there’s no clumps to this here but and I drained a lot of the water out but I didn’t drain all the water out cuz you’re going to want um there’s starch in this water and you’re

Going to want some of that starch water put in with your uh what’s that spaghetti sauce you want to put some of that starch water in your spaghetti sauce it’s going to help thicken it up too it’s going to help the sauce stick to your noodles and you’re going to love

It so I’m going to turn uh the sauce off and uh these here are extra hot so we’re going to let everything cool down just for a bit to where it’s not smoking up enough to where you can’t see what I’m saying and we’ll be right

Back all right so we’ve let it cool down a little bit um do this here get this a little a little closer cuz what we’re going to do is we’re going to take these noodles and put them in the sauce but we’re not going to drain the

Noodles cuz like I said there’s a lot of starch that you want to keep and the starch is going to help with thickening up the sauce and keeping the sauce stuck to the noodles and as you can see because of the oil that we put when we

Uh when we boil the noodles the oil keeps the noodles from sticking together just get them incorporated into the sauce all right so uh We’ve let it cool for a little bit after we’ve melted the flavors together so let’s go ahead and get it plated up I’m going to show you a

New Contraption like I’m a um I’m a gadget guy right I love new gadgets new things I can incorporate in the kitchen I’m going to show you something new right now uh give me a Second so we got the noodles and the sauce Incorporated and like I said the starch help to thicken up the sauce too so we what and so soupy and it sticks to the noodles get a little bit of a some Parmesan cheese on there that’s the

Only cheese my mom likes and she likes it on her spaghetti so this is my plate but it’s in her honor all right so we’re going to get some Parmesan on there yes let me show you my new Contraption I know that’s wild looking right it’s a it’s a herb cutter herb scissors so I got some fresh parsley here right and you just want to Bunch it together like you would if you was going to cut uh cut it with a knife and then just uh hit it with the scissors

And you got the stems there kind of stems away you don’t need those got some more leaves going to cut them up stem get rid of that now these scissors are kind of kind of spread apart pretty good you know what I mean so when you do cut up your veggies

Veggies they might be a little thicker than you want so what you can do get them chopped up a little better just kind of bunch them up together take your scissors hit them sideways and I’m on some wax paper right now so when you cut them up just make

Sure you don’t cut up the the paper it’s a neat little Gadget it’s going to be fun with cilantro too that way you’re chopping up your vegetables and you’re not bruising them by over chopping if that makes any sense one more time and see gets all of them in a

Crunch and just chop to get the excess out of them and watch this take what you done sprinkle sprinkle everybody you know how it works sprinkle sprinkle make it look pretty get some on the outside of the plate don’t be nervous about that it just shows that you put some

The the Umami powder to the hamburger meat to the Uli sausages the fire roasted tomatoes like I’m just being hit with flavor after flavor after flavor level like this is amazing this is not just you I’m sorry I can’t even talk god I I got to go in for another bite I

Just want to make sure that wasn’t a fluke with a dry mouth or something that was let me get pepper over here I’m tell you like I’m going to bring some of this to uh to my mom tomorrow and you know like I said before chili spaghetti uh things like that that are

Condensed flavors together it’s always better uh the next day after it’s been in the refrigerator and just solid IFI together and then you reheat it and redistribute those so this even going to be better tomorrow I’m telling you mark my words my mom is going to taste this

I think would be good with this I’m making a spaghetti sauce Italian seasonings of course oregano of course garlic powder of course it’s Italian Dish trust your palette throw in your seasonings what you want try this recipe follow what I did I’m telling you oh

Satirical recipe book but I’m going to make something out of here I’m not sure yet of what it’s going to be but it’s going to be amazing uh we’re going to have fun with it so y’all uh y’all come join me next time um we’ll we’ll we’ll do something

  1. Shame you lost your sauce recipe but a good cook always adapts when they find out they don't have an ingredient, and the way you layered the flavours – yum! Can't wait for the Lovecraft recipe. I love those nerdy cookbooks, I have so many of them 🙂
