INGREDIENTS for the Berta Jay’s
SIMPLE Cashew Ranch Dressing

½ cup of cashews
6 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar)
3/4 teaspoon maple syrup
3/4 teaspoon salt (I use Himalayan)
¼ cup onion (roughly chopped-I used white onion; use your favorite)
Blenderize, then add:
3/4 teaspoon dill
3/4 teaspoon Italian spices (Italian blend)
3/4 teaspoon basil
BLEND – 3 to 5 seconds; 3 seconds – spices will be larger; 5 seconds spices will be finer. I like it both ways.

My objective for this channel is to share with others what I have learned over the last 30+ years about living and eating healthier. I share my knowledge with my small circle of friends all the time. I am not a doctor, nor do I hold any type of medical degree, but I believe that my tried experiences may help someone else.

For over 30 years I have used every diet imaginable to lose weight, but I confess that I am now at home using the vegan lifestyle. I want to share what I have learned about eating and enjoying food. And, since I am still learning how to be more consistent with this lifestyle, I have decided to eat more healthily, realizing the weight will come off eventually. Though I have not reached my goal weight, I know that sharing with other people in front of a camera with help me to stay on course.

I have, with the help of my husband of 37 years, raised 3 grown children. I will also share some cooking shortcuts as well as some natural formulas I have used and still use for everyday problems.

Hey hey come on in to my kitchen I’m Berta J and today we’re gonna make some delicious you will love it ranch dressing and we are gonna start with I have a cup of cashews and you make it in your high-speed blender the next ingredient is 6 tablespoons of water 1/2

And then you’re gonna use 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 3/4 of a tape a teaspoon 3/4 of a teaspoon of maple syrup 3/4 of a teaspoon of salt I’m using Himalayan and 1/4 of a cup of onion chopped you don’t really have to chop it now that I think about it

Because the blender will blend it up but at least you know cut it up kind of roughly then you’re gonna put it in the blender until it gets smooth That’s the end of your blending and now here comes the ranch part you’re gonna just open up the your blender and you’re gonna put in 3/4 of a teaspoon of all these spices 3/4 of a teaspoon of dill Italian spices or Italian blend and basil now the the key to making it ranch

Like you’ve already done a lot of it for taste but these spices are gonna really give it the punch but you don’t want to blend it longer than about 5 seconds so I’m gonna count to five and then that’s it okay now cashews are a thickening nut

And what will happen I’m gonna pour it out so you can see it what will happen after you’ve made this you will put it in the refrigerator it’s kind of watery here but when you put it in the refrigerator it’s gonna thicken it’s a little thick here but cashews are a

Thickening nut so it’s it’ll thicken as it’s cooled and I’m gonna taste it because it’s really good hmm this is good you’ll like it that’s it that’s it that’s it that’s the recipe for a delicious ranch dressing and if you can look at it you’ll see that the spices

Are really they’re still you can still see them if you want to see more then only do three seconds so I’m gonna put below in the instruction to do it between three and five seconds and that’s it that’s the way it is and we and you can use it on your for dipping

Vegetables you can use it on your salads you can use it for for those of you who eat meat you can dip your hot wings and the ones of you who don’t you can do your cauliflower hot wings you can dip it in this it’s really really a good

Yum.!!! only had roasted and salted cashews and they ok. added red onion. and without or italian seasoning just improved with my own harvested and dried thyme and a dash or so of oregano. added some parsley bc of a suggestion from below. it's fantastic. doesn't need black pepper, or garlic powder or anything else but the basil would be nice for next time. thanks.

Its 2024 and i made this ranch dressing and i saw where a young lady said she opt out the water and added almond milk but i used cashew milk and i clove of garlic( i don't care for raw onions like that) with your other ingredients, let me tell you it came out really really good😊..thank you..and the other younglady for suggesting the almond milk
