In this video, I show a really easy way to make garlic butter at home. I also add some herbs to the mix, for the extra flavor and for the color.

As I said on the video, you can make many different types of flavored butter at home, garlic is just one option.

Here are some ideas:

Pepper butter
Oregano butter
Rosemary butter
Basil butter
Chili butter?
Maybe a mixture of all of those. Open your spice cabin and use whatever you feel like.

For this, I used:
100g of normal salted butter (If you use unsalted, maybe add some salt as well)
2 gloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of dried chives
1 tablespoon of “Provence herb mixture”

Thats it.

I would imagine using pre-minced garlic would also work just fine. No clue how long this lasts for, but I will probably eat this within a week.

This can be used for anything. I used it for making scrambled eggs, and also on top of some meat and potatoes. The possibilities are again endless.

Thanks for watching, like and subscribe for better garlic butter!

  1. You sound Finnish. Use a fork instead of a spoon. Don’t leave the cut garlic on the wooden cutting board, the garlic juices sieve into it and you would always want your cutting board to be as neutral as possible. I like a mix of garlic and parsley for my steaks and baked potatoes. 👍
