    Not a fan of having to pick herb stems out of my food.

    Some small refinements…remove the Thyme leaves from the stem. Used in this way for an edible garnish, the stems would not be pleasing to chew down on. The application of the Ricotta could also be a bit more delicately piped (a sandwhich bag with the tip cut would help). I think once you’re able to get your hands on some better plates, your over all plating presentation will be elevated. For working with what you have in a dorm room, this is a good start. Keep at it!

    I don’t mind the negative space but putting stuff so much on the edge puts me on the edge lol

    I don’t like the squished all to one side some people are into now. Negative space can be used correctly, but this ain’t it. Also, pick the thyme leaves. Keep working on it, the overall thought has merit, just need to execute a tad better.
