Hi everyone we have just a treat for you let’s go ahead and dive in and make chocolate lava Cakes first preheat your oven to 450° fhe we’re using 6 oz ramkin for these lava cases and this makes four 6 oz servings okay so we’re using 6 oz of the giradelli baking chocolate but you could use use any other high quality bacon chocolate that’s out there okay first we’re going to start

Off by chopping up the chocolate bars or chocolate Square to the bacon chocolate okay now that the chocolate is all cut we’re going to take half cup of unsalted butter we’re just going to go ahead and just cut it up in the pieces and we’re going to place the butter and the

Chocolate in a microwave safe Bowl just get all that chocolate that we just cut up in there with the butter next we’re going to butter and flour our 6 oz framkin and you want to make sure you butter these really well and get it real good in the crevices

So that way it comes right out when it’s done baking so after you’ve have buttered and lightly flowed your ramp kins next we’re going to take our butter and our chopped chocolate and we’re going to melt it until smooth now you can use a double boiler but we don’t have that so we’re

Going to use a microwave safe bowl and we’re going to do it in 30 second intervals okay so here’s the first 30 seconds and as you see it needs more time so I’m going to microwave it for another 30 seconds we’re going to go ahead and mix this this the second 30

Seconds and we’re going to stir this around and you see it’s nice and smooth you want to be careful not to over microwave it and you want the chocolate and the butter to be a smooth consistency just like this okay next we’re going to take two whole

Eggs room temperature and you want them room temperature so they can incorporate well into the batter and you’re going to put two whole eggs in a large container or mixing bowl and now we’re going to take two more eggs but we’re just going to

Use the egg yolk and what I do is I just usually just place in my hand and let the egg whites flow through my hand just like that see and you just have the egg yolk to get your if you don’t have already room temperatured eggs you can

Just place the eggs in a bowl of warm water and let them sit for about 5 minutes I’m going to do the other egg there’s the egg yolk we going to place that in with the other eggs now we’re going to take 1/8 of a teaspoon and put that with the

Eggs and 1/4 cup of grin lay sugar and we’re going to put that with the eggs as well just incorporate a little at a time we’re going to incorporate a little bit and as we blend it we’re going to be blending this for five total minutes to get the eggs

Beaten to the ribbon stage which we’ll show you what that show you what that looks like okay so now you see how is at the ribbon stage to form ribbons just like that and it should be a pale yellow and it should be thick and has doubled or tripled in volume now

We’re going to fold the chocolate mixture and the flour 2 tablespoons of flour and the flour into the egg we’re using a total of 2 tbspoon of flour and a half teaspoon of flour you want to be sure not to put too much flour because it’ll cause the lava cake to thicken Okay we’re just mixing it in like so now we’re going to divide our batter into the prepar rampin that we Have Now we’re going to place this in the oven at 450° for 10 minutes now that it’s done baking we’re going to let it rest for 1 minute okay now that it’s uh set for 1 minute we’re going to go ahead and flip this and put a plate over Here gently turn It okay and then that was in there for 10 minutes and we’re going to go ahead and put a little powdered sugar on here And let’s dig in and See look at that chocolate lava cake M this is very delicious there you have it if this video was at all helpful to you go ahead and give it a thumbs up and comment below and let us know what you think are you going to try this recipe
