GARLIC & BASIL WHIPPED FETA [👇🏼recipe]

DAY 3 of SIZZLE WEEK! Whipped feta with a little sizzled garlic!

A few notes:
-make sure to work in a well ventilated area
-heat oil until it reaches its smoke point. Once you can see thin wisps of smoke, then it’s ready
-‼️stay close to the stove when heating oil… don’t want to set off smoke alarm‼️
-I used olive oil in this video, but need to be very careful when heating olive oil! When olive gets heated too hot, it can give off some serious smoke.
-the smaller the mince, the greater the surface area = more flavour

Whipped Feta:
200g feta
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
-whip in food processor

Garlic Basil oil
-mince 1-2 cloves of garlic
-pour hot olive oil (1/4 cup) over minced garlic. This will take out some of the raw bite of the garlic
-once cooled and no longer bubbling, add in sliced basil (about 10 leaves)
-add in 2 tbsp of grated Parmesan
-mix well

Plate whipped feta, garnish with oil, and toasted pine nuts
