βœ… Filling ingredients:
3.5oz | 100g | 1/2 cup dry green lentils
10.5oz | 300ml | 1 1/4 cup water
1/4tsp salt
1 onion
1 garlic clove
1/4tsp Korean chilli flakes (gochugaru)
20g | 1oz coriander

βœ… Patties base ingredients:
2lb | 1kg | 4 large size potatoes
1 large onion
1tbsp flour
salt and black pepper for seasoning

βœ… Instructions:
First, cook 3.5oz (100g) of dry green lentils in 1 1/4 cups (300ml) of water for 30 minutes. While that’s cooking, sautΓ© a chopped onion and a minced garlic clove until the onion is translucent. Peel and grate 2lb (1kg) of potatoes. Mix in a grated onion, 1 tablespoon of flour (brown rice flour is what I use, but any type works), salt, and black pepper.

Once the lentils are done, mash them and let them cool. Add the cooked onion and garlic, along with 1/4 teaspoon of Korean red chili flakes (or substitute with crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper). Stir in 1oz (20g) of chopped coriander. Shape the grated potatoes into balls, flatten them into circles, and fill each with 1-2 tablespoons of lentils. Seal and slightly flatten the patties.

Cook them over medium heat with the lid on for 5-7 minutes on each side. Flip the patties, add about 4 tablespoons of water, and continue cooking with the lid on until they turn golden brown.

Serve these tasty veg patties with dairy-free yogurt or salsa. They can be enjoyed hot or cold – I like both ways. They’re absolutely delicious! πŸ˜‹

Hello Everyone 😘. 1/2 cup (100 g) Dry Green Lentils. 1 tsp Salt. Simmer for 30 minutes. 1 Onion. Olive oil. These patties are good for lunch or dinner, hot or cold and are so delicious! πŸ‘ πŸ˜‹. Pinch of Salt (optional). Mix well and fry for about 3 minutes until transparent.

2 Garlic clove. This is a very easy recipe everyone can make at home. Just follow my step by step instructions. Cooked Lentils. Mash the Lentils and let them to cool down. Add cooked Onion and Garlic. 1/2 tsp (1,3 g) Sweet Paprika. Fresh Parsley (optional). Mix well.

Vegans enjoy this Lentil recipe a lot and for non vegans it will be a surprise how good these patties with Lentils are! 4 Potatoes. Remove the excess liquid. 1 Onion. 1 tsp Salt. 2 tbsp Rice Flour ℹ️ If you like you can use any flour instead. Black Pepper. Mix well.
