My egg got caught in a few rainstorms and I noticed some mold growing and it was time for new gaskets anyways so I started a cleansing burn. Came back after a while and what started out as a totally clean looking egg now looks like this.
Anything to worry about? What’s going on here?

This is normal. It will all wipe off when you are done.
It’s just the “Meat Sweats,” wipe down and cook on!
Little dawn and water should be fine. Ceramic is slightly porus and will absorb smoke and moisture and oils from low and slow cooks.
I did a high temp burn to clean my egg, and this happened to me too. Totally normal. After the burn, I used the BGA exterior cleaning products and it looks great. 👍🏼
