Keep the dish simple make use of some key flavours. Make sure you don’t overcook them! A few minutes each side is plenty. This is a great starter to have for just about any occasion.

Hello Darlings my name is Steven Davies and I’m the knob by The Hop so tonight I’m going to do a scallops in lemon butter with the little spinach leaves as a started it’s very straightforward some nice fresh scallops from from my um fish mongus at my farm shop every Tuesday

Um I always put the garlic in the butter so I mix the garlic and the butter together um make sure it’s nice and soft and just some lemons that’s it and then obviously some spin leaves I got these nice little shell plates put them on heat the pan up first it’s really hot

Stick the butter in the garlic don’t wait too long stick the scalps in and some lemon juice and then literally I would do 2 minutes each side everything’s actually Okay So quick and easy scallop starter even after couple of glasses of Wine
