Prep time: 10 minutes.
Baking time: 55-65 minutes.
Total: 65-75 minutes.

RECIPE:
All ingredients must be room temperature
I recommend using scales to measure the ingredients, especially flour

120g (1 cup) plain flour
60g (1/2 cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
4 small or 3 medium bananas (350g or 1+1/2 cup mashed)
60ml (1/4 cup) melted and cooled slightly unsalted butter
60ml (1/4 cup) cooking oil
150g (3/4 cup) sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
170g (1 cup) chopped semi sweet dark chocolate or chocolate chips – reserve 40g (1/4 cup) for topping, the rest use for the batter.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180C / 360F / gas mark 4.
Place it on the middle rack, in the middle of the rack
Baking time: 55-65 minutes, or until toothpick comes out mostly clean, there will be some melted chocolate left on the toothpick, which is normal.
If the top is getting too brown, but it’s still not ready in the middle, cover it with foil loosely.
Every oven is different, baking times may vary slightly, keep checking it with a toothpick every 5 minutes after 50 minutes of baking.

Enjoy 💗
