Chickpea and sweet potato patties is today’s recipe. Apart from being delicious, chickpea are a great source of fiber, protein, iron, magnesium… that’s why we love them! This is an excellent way to eat them, even the little one will devour these vegan patties. You can also eat them as a burger in your bun, serve them with some salad or with this yummy yogurt sauce recipe you can find also in the video.

Ingredients:
-240 gr (8 & 3/4 oz) cooked chickpeas
-200 gr (7 oz) cooked sweet potato
-a garlic clove
-a small piece of ginger
-an onion
– a bunch of coriander
-3 tbsp olive oil
-1/2 tsp salt
-black pepper
-1/3 tsp ground cumin
-1/2 cup oat flour

For the yogurt sauce:
-1 cup vegan yogurt
-1 tbsp olive oil
-1 tsp lemon juice
-black pepper
-1/2 tsp salt
-1 small grated garlic
– a small piece of grated ginger

Hi Darlings! Mash 240 gr (8 & 3/4 oz) cooked chickpeas you can use a fork or a food processor find a yogurt sauce recipe at the end! mash 200 gr (7 oz) cooked sweet potato the sweet potatoes can be boiled, steamed or baked grate a garlic clove grate a small piece of ginger

Peel and grate/chop an onion chop a bunch of coriander add 1 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan add the grated garlic add the grated ginger cook for 1 minute add the grated onion cook until golden transfer the chickpeas into a big bowl add the mashed sweet potatoes add 1/2 tsp salt

Black pepper 1/3 tsp ground cumin add the chopped coriander add the fried veggies combine all the ingredients add 1/2 cup oat flour mix again you need to get this consistency let’s give them shape! add 2 tbsp of olive oil in a frying pan cook for 2-3 minutes each side

Let’s prepare the yogurt dip sauce! 1 cup vegan yogurt 1 tbsp olive oil black pepper add a pinch of salt grate 1 garlic clove grate a small piece of ginger 1 tsp lemon juice combine enjoy this chickpea patties recipe!
