Ingredients:
1 cup olive oil
1/3 cup vinegar (we love apple cider vinegar for mild flavor)
1 garlic clover (pressed if you use a hand whisk)
1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
Salt & pepper

🟣 Mix all ingredients in a blender and keep in fridge up to a week. Leave in room temperature for few minutes to liquify before using.
🟣 If you hand mix it, press your garlic

❇️ 1- HERB:
Basic recipe + add handful of fresh herbs – cilantro, parsley, mint or a mix of some!
❇️ 2- Creamy Red Onion:
Remove mustard from basic recipe + add 2 Tbsp plain yogurt, 2Tbsp minced red onion, 1 tsp honey, 1/2 tsp dried oregano, 2 Tbsp minced fresh basil
❇️ 3- Cilantro-Lime:
1 cup oil, 1/3-1/2 cup lime juice, 4 tsp maple/honey, 1-2 garlic cloves, 3 cups fresh cilantro, 1 tsp ground coriander, 1 tsp salt, pepper
❇️ 4- Honey-Mustard:
Basic recipe + add 1 Tbsp honey. Best used with white wine vinegar or Champagne vinegar.
❇️ 5- Italian:
1 cup olive oil. 1/4 cup white wine vinegar, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard, 1-2 garlic cloves, 1 1/2 Tbsp honey, 2 tsp oregano, 1 tsp thyme, 3 Tbsp fresh shopped parsley. Optional- 1/3 cup Parmesan

Today I’m going to show you the basics of every vinegarette and then you can take it through endless variations let’s Go for me the base of every vinegarette has six ingredients an oil an acid salt pepper garlic and Dijon mustard for the oil I always use olive oil you can use any oil that you’d like but olive oil tends to have the best flavor and a lightness to it that’s wonderful on a

Salad but the acid comes in so many different options red wine V vinar white wine vinegar apple cider vinegar balsamic vinegar you can use a lemon or a lime and if you want something super gentle and light use champagne vinegar so we’re going to start with the oil and

The acid the general ratio is 3 to 1 so one cup of oil I’m using olive oil in this dressing for the acid I like to use apple cider vinegar and I’m going to use a third of a cup I choose apple cider vinegar because it has a soft flavor red

Wine vinegar is also excellent in this sometimes I just go for the softer applen the rest of the ingredients is one clove of garlic a tabl spoon of Dijon salt and pepper to taste you can always add more at the end so this immersion blender that comes

With a bowl makes things super easy but you can do this with a whisk you’re just going to have to press your garlic now after you start mixing it it’s a good time to give it a little taste to see if you need any more salt
