[Music] while scrolling through some short videos  the other day on the internet I found this really   interesting recipe that was called I believe it  was pasqualina it’s an Italian pie of sort well   this is my version of what I saw in that short  little video and let me tell you it is super

Tasty first up you’re going to want to turn your  oven on to three 75 while that’s heating up take   your favorite skillet for sautéing and melt the  butter once it’s melted add the sweet onion and   garlic and sauté for about 5 minutes roughly  now I’m going to take two packages of Frozen

Cream of spinach and add it to that sauté  pan mixing it in real well and keeping it   over medium heat till it’s nice and hot in a pie  pan add the pre-made pie crust now I’m going to   scoop about half of that spinach mixture into  the pastry before adding half of the ricotta

Cheese smoothing over the top try not to blend  it and then add your parmesan cheese a little   sprinkle of fresh parsley and repeat again now  I’m going to take my favorite cooking spoon and   make four holes evenly around the pie in these  holes we’re going to end up cracking a egg and

Putting each egg in each of these four holes as  so here’s the hole I just kind of pushed it down   with a spoon and then crack your egg and put it  in each hole now I’m going to take and put the

Top pie pastry onto the pie cutting a nice tear  shape in the middle of the pie before adding a   nice brush of the rest of the whipped egg now  we’re going to bake it at 375 for roughly an

Hour or until the pie is golden brown the minute  I cut into it I can smell a little bit of garlic   but the creamy spinach and pastry so freshh and  luckily I got a piece that had one of the eggs

And it tastes like a hardboiled egg only way  better just the combination is so yummy I’m   not sure what I would pair this with as far as a  meat goes I think it tastes fine on its own as a

Meal I’m using fresh herbs that I grow in my home  hydroponically year round you could definitely   use a homegrown spinach in this recipe you just  want to be sure when you cook it down that you

Drain the excess water off I hope you try this  one it is super tasty and would make a great   brunch meal you can find the complete recipe  on my website at BrenHaas.com I hope to see you there
