Red velvet cake is said to be the queen of all cakes. This soft, moist, and creamy cake, with its velvety texture, makes it simply irresistible. So let’s see how to make this cake.

Ingredients:
Powdered sugar: ¾ th cup
Eggs: 3
Refined oil: ½ cup
Maida: 1 cup
Baking soda: ½ tsp
Baking powder: 1 tbsp
Coconut essence: 1 tsp
Food colour: As per requirement
Heavy Whipping cream: 1 ½ cups
Chocolate hearts and sprinklers for decoration

How to prepare
• Take a bowl and add the eggs. Now whisk the eggs till it gets frothy to this add little oil at a time and keep beating.
• You will soon get a creamy texture and this will take about 10 mins.
• Now sift the sugar, flour and add 1 tbsp of baking powder, 1.2 tbs of baking soda and mix the ingredients using the cut and fold method. Remember not to mix it vigourously or don’t use a mixer.
• Add little milk and mix the ingredients to get the right consistency. Now add 1 tsp of coconut essence.
• Not to get the beautiful color, add a few drops of red food color and mix well. If needed add few more drops.
• Once done, grease a bowl and line it with a butter paper.
• This will help to de-mould the cake easily.
• Pour the batter. Have preheated the cooker for 5 mins on high flame. I have also placed a stand inside.
• Now let’s put the bowl and cover the cooker with a plate so that the heat is not released from any sides.
• Remember to maintain the heat, it’s 5 mins high. 20 mins medium and 20 mins low flame in the gas.
• After 45 mins insert a skewer to check if the cake is done. If it comes out clean then the cake is baked else cover and bake for 5 more mins and check again.
• Once this is done let the cake cool a bit and then demould it.
• I will now remove the extra portion on the top of the cake to make it plain. Take two threads and place one at the half of the cake and the other at the position that is less than the half.
• Cut the sides of the cake to give a V- shape and then use your knife too cut another small V shape at the top. Once the basic shape is given, cut the edges to give it a smooth shape.
• Now use a thread to get 3 slices from the cake.
• I have collected the sides of the cake and let’s remove the brown sides to get the perfect red crumbles. Use a mixer to get the coarse cake crumbs.
• We will also prepare the sugar syrup to moist the cake.
• I have taken 1 ½ cup of heavy cream and whip it till I get stiff peaks.
• Add few drops of coconut essence in the cream. Now place the cake on a rotating table and place one slice. Add few spoons of sugar syrup and apply cream and smoothen it .Do this for the rest 2 slices and then add more cream from the top and sides and smoothen it. Once done clean the sides with a moist cotton.
• Now add the cake crumbs on top to get the velvety texture, add from all the side and with the help of a spatula spread the crumbs evenly. Decorate it with some little chocolate hearts Place two little hearts on the cake and add some golden sprinklers to get the perfect red velvet cake.
• Your cake is ready to serve.

Refined oil 1/ cup milk 1 cup ma baking powder baking soda coconut Essence and red fot color now take a bowl and add the eggs now whisk the eggs till it gets frothy and to this add little oil at a time and keep beating you will soon get

The creamy texture and this will take about 10 minutes now add the sugar and keep beating it till you get a creamy Texture take a sip and add one cup of mea and add 1 tpoon of baking powder half teaspoon of baking soda now save all the dry ingredients so that there are no lumps in It and now mix all the ingredients using the cotton fold method we will add a little bit of milk and mix it the ingredients to get the right consistent remember not to mix it vigorously or don’t use a mixer the cut and fold method helps to retain the air

Inside the ingredients and will help to make a super soft cake I will add 1 teaspoon of coconut essel to get a beautiful color add few drops of red fot color and mix well if needed you can add few more drops to get the bright red color

Once done let’s grease a bowl and line it with the butter paper this will help you to demo the cake easily now we will pour the batter and I have not used the hard shaped container as I want to show you how to cut the perfect hard shape

From a round cake also I am not using the oven this time I will use an old pressure cooker to bake this cake I have preheated the cooker for 5 minutes on high flame and I have also placed a stand inside now let’s put the bowl and cover the cooker with a plate
