How to make delicious chili at home. Chili gets better the longer you cook it. Chili cooks very low and slow to make sure the meat is tenderized very well. You can drain your chili beans so that it doesn’t water down your beans.

Ingredients:
4 15.5 oz cans Chili beans
2 cans black beans 15.5 oz
2 packs of taco seasoning or chili seasoning packets
2 cans of mild rotel
1 can of diced tomatoes
3lbs of ground beef ( ground meat of Your choice)
Tomato paste
Tomato sauce
Beef bouillon
Beef stock or water
Diced onion
Diced bell peppers
Salt
Chili powder
Black pepper
Garlic powder
Cilantro

Cook ground beef and drain oil
Add all ingredients to a big pot cook for 2 hours on simmer. After the first 1 hour and 30 minutes take the lid off and let the chili simmer down for 30 minutes so chill will thicken up.

Meat ground beef I have three pounds okay because I’m making a lot for my family I have minutes minutes and bell peppers and some onions I took my mini chopper press that button and let it go to get as small as I can because y’all know there are people who do not like

To see bell pepper and onions in their food they like the flavor they just don’t want to see it okay so I got that all menaced up I am going to use some Rotel um I had the original and a half mile I didn’t get both mild because

You know if you’re gonna feed some to the kids it can’t be too hot so in the end you know we can add up some hot sauce if we need it I am going to use this tomato paste I have here use whatever kind of tomato paste you have preferably my mama always

Will get the tomato paste the Italian kind you know with the herbs in it and the spices which make chili real good I got me some of these um Great Value chili beans at Walmart because they had these cans for 78 Cent they did have some for 25 cent on sale but apparently

They got sold out before I got to Walmart okay and there’s no salt added in these beans which is a good thing because I got high blood pressure so I can control some of my salt just a little bit and I got some black beans I’m gonna add

Into this this is gonna be kind of like a Mexican style chili whatever it’s some chili and I want some and this has no salt in these black bean chili as well and that’s another can of black beans I had in the house and that one came from Family Dollar for

A dollar it’s a little bigger cane than the ones I got from Walmart I got two beef bouillon cubes to help out that beefy beefy flavor and of course I’m using black pepper and I got some garlic powder and I will just be using some taco seasoning mix because

Guess what if I pull out that cumin and chili powder and all of that stuff in my cabinet you ain’t doing that making some taco seasoning mix that’s what a lot of people don’t understand so if you don’t have all those seasonings and you can’t afford to buy all of those seasonings to

Make chili just go ahead and grab you a pack of Taco mix now the mild you know got a little kick to it and then you got original that doesn’t have all that Spice in it so it’s just according to what you like so that’s why I have both of them laid

Out here so you can choose mild or you can use original or spicy whatever you know flavor you like okay so these are the ingredients that I will be using just to make some chili so let’s get the cooking y’all okay so now the first thing I like to do when I am

Making some chili I like to Brown up my ground beef of course this type that I got y’all know got a lot of oil so I will have to drain all that oil and I like to um add my vegetable vegetables my onion and my bell pepper in with my meat Okay and

Like I said I chopped it up really really fine y’all okay now if you want to um do some garlic go ahead I see this piece didn’t chop good in my mini chopper but it’s okay y’all just go ahead and take that out because I don’t really need that

Big old piece that Marina chopping and chop up y’all I’m gonna go ahead and take that out and throw that away Okay so then you can add just a little bit of seasoning you know like some garlic and some pepper I’m not gonna add no salt in

It because that taco seasoning got soft so just add some garlic and pepper um or you can get something like this like some salt free garlic and herb season up your meat okay one thing about it always season up your meat or you can always use fresh garlic I always

Remember that okay now we’re gonna put some black pepper over this of course this is my cracked black pepper y’all know I got it I just I don’t use it that much some reason I just don’t use it that much so be generous with some black pepper and then your meat at least

Okay so get you some black pepper up and down your meat I’m gonna go ahead and Stir It From The Bottom because y’all know that bottom is already starting to cook once you um put in that skillet for a few minutes y’all see that okay

Let me zoom in and that way you can get your seasoning throughout your meat as well so you’re gonna mix all that together y’all leave some comments down below and tell me how y’all like y’all chilling do y’all liking the ground turkey ground chicken I have seen people use pork and beef

In they chili I’m not gonna use any pork in here because first of all I don’t need it this red meat is enough I use pork and a lot of other stuff so I could have pulled it out but I’m not gonna do that we don’t need all that we

Just want some good old chili and this morning when I woke up it was kind of nippy it feel good outside so I got my back door open I don’t have the air on you know my kitchen door is open and I’m feeling the breeze listening to the birds chirp

Of things that are going on in society y’all just the world you know in general and how a lot of people don’t like to address issues anymore like people just want everything to be I’m doing good I’m doing fine I’m flossing and I’m flexing instead of life being truthful you know

Everybody got to be rich and some of them ain’t you know they just driving a nice car but they really ain’t got no money anything you know and I just sit back and I think about stuff like that be who you are be original be true to yourself

Don’t be with the world want you to be who you are fear heaven they’re just like me I like the company that I work for I like my job it’s just that some days you know working at the hospital can become overwhelming for you know caregivers you know nurses doctors kicks

Anybody phlebotomists respiratory theaters Cooks housekeepers and it can become overwhelming and some people don’t appreciate those of us that are in the health care field okay yeah I’m gonna go ahead and I’m gonna let this brown up and while this is Browning up I’m gonna go in and I’m going to

Um open up my cans of beans because I think I got like two of them that I got got to open up with my can opener and some of those tomatoes I gotta open up with my can opener and then we’ll be back for the next okay after your meat

Cooks make sure that you strain your meat to get all that oil off okay I just put a pot under my strainer y’all see that oil um destroying your meat okay okay so I drain my meat like I showed y’all um Walmart y’all should be showing me y’all

Still selling us that meat with all that fat in it but okay I strained it really really good so now I am going to start adding in everything the seasoning the beans and all so I’m gonna add in this my chili pack my um taco seasoning packs okay

I’m gonna mix that on up yeah with the meat even though I know I’m gonna cook together I’m just gonna go ahead and mix it just a little bit and just something I do y’all don’t have to do that okay this is just the overall idea of how you can make some chili

Okay so I’m going in with these 15.5 ounce cans these are 15.5 ounce cans of the Great Value chili beans red beans and chili sauce so y’all to me bushes has the best beans but I got these because they were cheap and affordable okay so I’m gonna use three

Because I’m making a large pot I’m gonna use four cans of regular chili beans remember I got one of I wanted chili beans is from Family Dollars you know that I had in the house but technically only but three of them from Walmart want to get you two top cans of that bushy

Baked bean bushes got the best chili beans y’all raise your hands if you believe bush has got some of the best chili beans okay so look at that came from um Family Dollar it really don’t matter what kind of chili beans you use if you know how to season

Your food properly okay so we got that now let’s go in with the bait the um black beans I know some of y’all like yeah it’s dry you don’t have to strain them beans you gotta have some kind of liquid to make you chili I don’t know

What people get their milk from that you what you gonna add in some more salty chicken stock and then over salt and don’t have the proper flavoring that you wanted this I can control my salt okay now I’m gonna go in with my two cans of Rotel this is the uh original Rotel

And this is the mild Rotel see that mild gonna ample up a little flavor flavor on flavor on flavor and now I’m gonna go in with some I bet y’all like why you add some tomato tomatoes because I want to make it a big old pot of chili

Then I’m gonna add in that garlic powder maybe I told y’all you can add fresh garlic I mean I got some squeezed garlic but yeah I’m saving that for some meals so I got my garlic powder let me get my black pepper now I’m gonna add that black pepper

Y’all y’all see that black pepper even I added some earlier this to the meat we need some for this okay and now I’m gonna add some my tomato paste the tomato paste acts as a thickener yeah so they get you one can of some small size tomato paste

Because um this little bit that I had left in this tube let me use all of that and remember try to get that tomato paste with the garlic in the um herbs in it like the Italian flavor that’s the best tomato paste to get to make chili don’t listen to nobody else I

Just use what I had in the refrigerator instead of spending money because y’all know times is hard right now everybody ain’t got no money because if any groceries don’t got too high okay meet that together y’all mixing together now if you want to add and some other seasonings that y’all

Know you like go ahead so to this I’ll get on y’all about that chicken broth for real but you can add water or you can add beef broth because I gotta add my two big bouillon cubes so what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna add beef broth but remember all this stuff ain’t

Got no salt in it so I thought it was my beef broth I guess it ain’t beef broth yeah I’m heading some chicken stock while I’m up here talking trash Okay so it’s best to add and beef broth though this Seafood stock I thought I had my beef broth

So I’m gonna go ahead add beef broth chicken stock water whatever you got to go on convenience the chili make a cheese because it’s gonna take about two hours to cook okay so make sure you got some enough liquid in there so that it can boil

Myself you wanted to come up to a ball then you want to turn it down to a simmer okay y’all look at them colors on our beans look at that I’m telling y’all they’re gonna be good and I’ll be like no it ain’t you ain’t even chili powder taco seasoning has

Chili powder in it but for the record I have chili powder I got so much of seasoning y’all too pathetic cooking I like to cook people that y’all see on YouTube like me that be cooking we like call ourselves cookologists food allergies whatever you want call it I’m just joking y’all

Some of some of these people are classically trained chefs I’m not I just I’m just a regular old home cook okay y’all so I’m allow this to cook for two hours and remember I didn’t add no salt because y’all know that taco seasoning got salt in it so I don’t need to add

The most salt and then Ian if I need to add in most black pepper I will but as far as the salt content I don’t think I’m gonna need anymore I may not let me see y’all know what I know the kids don’t like hot stuff

But I’m just gonna add just a few chili flakes it ain’t too much just a few y’all know what I’m saying just a few that ain’t too much that ain’t gonna be too bad that ain’t gonna hurt the kids okay y’all so let me go ahead and I’m

Gonna let this cook and remember to pair after the check periodically check and stir your chili so I’m gonna turn this up I’m gonna come to a ball then I’m gonna turn it down to a simmer but remember to add a lid onto your chili okay so I’ll be back y’all once it’s

Done okay so it’s been an hour and 30 minutes I got an hour and 30 minutes to go and but at this hour 30 minutes mark it may not take another hour 30 minutes so what I did was I have taken the lid off and y’all see how it thickens up

You got to keep constantly stirring and make sure you stir it from that bottom because you know beans they’re gonna break up okay and that’s how your chili gonna get thick but in order to get the Liquid to reduce down song it’s going to have thick you want your

Chili you may not want it super super thick like I do I want to be a little thicker so I took my lid out to let it reduce it down okay so Y’all see that so I’m gonna let it cook a little bit longer and reduce down something y’all don’t have to because that right there may be thick enough for y’all but I’m gonna let my reduce down a little bit more so that’s why I said about two hours

Give it about 30 more minutes okay oh yeah this is gonna be so good um foreign tastes good so now I am going to Top This chili with a little bit of cheese y’all y’all top y’all chill tell me how y’all like to type y’all cheers

And also I’m gonna add a little bit of sour cream it’s the dollop of sour cream and if you got you some cilantro put you some cilantro on top I got some but I put some in my chili I forgot to show y’all that on camera but

  1. This turned out amazing! The only thing I changed was that I added two chopped scotch bonnet peppers when browning the meat and I didn't add black beans. Warning though: THIS IS ONE BIG POT OF CHILI 😂🤍 Use your biggest non-stick pot for this!

  2. Bush’s chilli and black beans for the win. 🙌🏽 I also add a bit of sugar probably a tablespoon just enough to curb the bitterness but not enough for it to be sweet. I top it with colby jack cheese and sour cream served with crackers or cornbread.
