Today I will be making Tahini Cookies which is basically Cookies made with Sesame. The cookies are crunchy with a sweet honey and sesame taste and fragrance.
It is also very easy to make, you do not need any gadgets to mix the ingredients.
Tahini is a paste made with sesame seeds. It is a type of condiment that Middle Eastern treat as peanut butter.
In this video I will be attempting to make a ‘variant’ of this delicious paste.
My tahini / sesame paste will be ‘drier’ than the traditional middle eastern version as I will not be adding as much oil. Also the oil I am using is olive oil .
The recipe makes around 11 pcs of 25g cookies each.
In all my recipe, I have tried to reduce the amount of sugar and salt to keep the product healthier
