Southern Seafood Salad

Ingredients:

1 pound of mixed seafood (shrimp, crab meat, and/or crawfish), cooked and chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: Old Bay seasoning or Cajun seasoning for added flavor
Lettuce leaves for serving
Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked and chopped seafood (shrimp, crab meat, and/or crawfish).

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until well combined. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise to achieve your desired consistency.

Pour the dressing over the seafood in the large mixing bowl and gently toss until the seafood is evenly coated.

Add the sliced green onions, chopped celery, and chopped parsley to the seafood mixture. Season with salt, black pepper, and any optional seasoning of your choice (such as Old Bay or Cajun seasoning). Mix everything together until well combined.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

To serve, line a serving platter or individual plates with lettuce leaves and spoon the chilled seafood salad on top.

Garnish with additional chopped parsley or green onions if desired.

A cup of mayonnaise a tablespoon of Dijon mustard and a tablespoon of lemon juice the result should be a creamy and tangy mixture that will serve as is the perfect compliment to your Seafood next pour this dressing over your chopped Seafood toss gently making sure every morsel is coated in this Tangy Delight

Now it’s time for the veggies add thinly sliced green onions finely chopped celery and 1/4 cup of fresh chopped parsley season the mixture with salt and black pepper and if you’re feeling adventurous consider adding a dash of Old Bay or caj seasoning mix everything together until the ingredients are evenly distributed

Once mixed cover your bowl with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes this allows the flavors to Mel together creating a depth and complexity that will tantalize your taste buds when it’s time to serve line a platter or plates with fresh lettuce
