Let’s prep chickpeas for Ramadan freezing not for hamos soak dry chickpeas overnight or at least 5 hours discarding any bad ones add half a teaspoon of baking soda to soften and reduce a cooking po after soaking the chickpeas thoroughly drain and rinse them to remove any resid juice next

You’re going to place them in a large pot cover with fresh water and bring to a boil as they cook a foam will form on the surface so carefully skim this off continue boiling and until the chickpeas are tender yet still hold their shape soft enough to bite into but not mushy

Cool the chickpeas a portion them and seal in freezer bags
