I’m having some friends over for crafts at a luncheon today I’m so glad you’re here don’t forget to subscribe and hit the like button I just returned home from the grocery store where I picked up a couple of lemon pepper rotisserie chickens and I got some fresh buttery

Croissants these will be perfect to make our homemade chicken salad I’m going to get my chicken salad put together I have some peans here that I’m going to chop you can put walnuts or any kind of nuts that you like in your chicken salad I always have peacon on

Hand where I live peans are very very prevalent I’m just going to chop these I don’t want them too big I just want a nice little bit of texture in my chicken salad I have my chicken here this is a chicken that I had last night that I got

At the grocery store it’s from the rotisserie chicken it’s all been been taken off and cut up in nice little pieces we don’t want great big pieces in our chicken salad I’m going to go ahead and put the peacor in and then we’ll add the rest of our

Ingredients I’m going to be adding some mayonnaise I really like this duk’s mayonnaise it’s really good so we’ll add some of this we’ll see if we need more we just want it to be nice and creamy and not dry and I’m going to add some of

This this is a salt-free Mrs Dash garlic and herb this was a gift from my friend Lisa so I’m going to put this in this is what she puts in her chicken salad this now this chicken is already pre-seasoned with lemon pepper seasoning from the grocery store where I bought

This in the rotisserie section so it has a little bit of flavor already so we don’t need to add too much then we’ll just get this mixing up until all the chicken is coated and it’s nice and creamy if you’re going to have this sitting in the refrigerator for a while

You may they want to add extra mayonnaise because the chicken will soak it all up if you’re going to serve it right away just go ahead and mix it exactly how you’d like it but you don’t want it to be too dry or too messy because then it might squeeze out of the

Sandwich bread or croissant that you put it on and you don’t want it to be really messy if you’d like you can add some salt and some pepper to your chicken salad I’ll mix this up and put it in the refrigerator so that it can set and all

The flavors can blend together while we get on to our next recipe now we’re going to get on to the classic wal dwarf salad recipe I have a half a cup of peacon here the original recipe calls for walnuts but like I said I always have peacon on hand so I’m

Going to put these on a baking sheet and toast the peons in the oven while the nuts are toasting in the oven I’m going to put in our cookies to bake a this the same time I have purple seedless grapes I’m going to get these washed and cut up one

Cup the nuts are toasted we’ll let these cool while we get our other ingredients cut up for our recipe we’re going to start by cutting up one cup of red seedless grapes we’re just going to cut these in half just like this now we’re going to cut up one large red apple

I’m going to cut up between a half a cup and a cup of celery depending on how much you like we’ll need about 2 tblspoon of lemon juice I’m just going to squeeze this lemon juice right into the bowl in this bowl I’m going to go ahead and start

Making my walf salad dressing I have the lemon and I’m going to put in 1/4 cup of mayonnaise and I also have in here 2 tbspoon of sour cream I’m going to add in a half a teaspoon of salt next I’ll add a half a tablespoon of sugar I’ll

Get this all mixed up our cookies are just about done in the oven so I’ll get those out so that they can cool The Toasted peans are cool so I’ll get these all chopped out everything is ready I’m going to put everything in a large bowl so I can

Easily fold it all together and get it all mixed up we’ll put the peacon in the apples the celery and the grapes and now all we need to do is put in our sauce just pour it right over the top now we’ll just lightly fold the sauce right over all of

Our ingredients we want to make this a little bit early so we can put it in the refrigerator I want this to be good and cold so that the sauce will set up and it’ll stick right onto all of these one wonderful things the celery the apples

The Grapes the peacon they’ll all be coated in this wonderful delicious sauce now I need to pick out something to wear to the party I’ll get the cookies iced and decorated and then I’ll get on to setting the table the cookies are all decorated and ready for the party

They’re perfect for spring I also have little containers that I can put cookies in to send home with my friends as well this is where I’ll set out all the food for the lunch and everyone can serve themselves the table is all set and ready for my guest we’ll be eating in

The dining room today I placed a bow on my wath in the dining room that’ll coordinate with my tablecloth this will pull the whole look together for spring I have a craft section set up here with a table and our boxes that we’re going to turn into little planters

These are wooden boxes that I got on Amazon I’m so glad you were here we had so much fun at the lunch in and putting this beautiful floral basket together it’ll be perfect for spring be sure to subscribe and hit the like button and I’ll see you next Time

Chicken salad was always on the menu when we had our monthly luncheons back in CA – so many sweet memories!💐❤ Your chicken salad is made almost identically to the way I make mine, except I use green grapes, lol!😂 I’ll try red grapes in the future (I prefer red grapes anyway).🍃🍇
