[Music] I love making appetizers and I love eating  them even more I enjoy the entertainment of it   having friends over or going to another person’s  home to eat and enjoy appetizers together they’re   the best way to eat they’re my favorite thing to  eat at a restaurant I just love them because they

Offer that variety and they offer the different  textures and flavors everything from sweet salty   Savory Tangy spicy you get it all and that’s  what I’m hoping to do with the appetizers I’m   whipping up for some guests I’m having over now  these appetizers could be made whether you’re

Having a fancy event whether you’re having  like a special occasion or like Super Bowl   these would be great for Super Bowl or if you  just want to make a meal on the weekend for   your family these will work for that just as  well so let’s get into the kitchen let’s get

Started I am excited to show you what I’ve got  let’s go the first appetizer we’re making is   this sushi bake if you like sushi you’re going  to love this it is the easy way to make sushi

With all the same flavors we’re going to first  start with our rice this is two cups of rice I   am rinsing it until the water runs clear and  then I’m going to add it to my quick cooker

And I’m going to add to that two and 1/2 cups  of water I’m going to give it a quick stir and   then I’m going to put the lid on and make sure  that my quick release is fully closed and then

I’m going to put it on the rice setting and that’s  all there is to it one once our rice is completely   cooked we’re going to grab a baking dish and  we’re going to make the seasoning mix for our

Rice it includes 1/4 cup of rice wine vinegar  1 tbspoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt I’m   going to mix that together and then put it in  the microwave for 30 seconds until the sugar

And the salt are dissolved looks like we’re good  I’m going to pour this on top of that rice now   the recipe actually called for two tablespoons  of sugar where I only used one I wanted it to

Be less less sweet and have just a little less  sugar content but I don’t think it’s going to   matter because you’re just trying to have a little  bit of salt and a little bit of sweetness in your

Sushi rice now I’m going to add some white sesame  seeds and I’m going to fold those in as well okay   we’re going to put this in our dish this is a  9×13 dish that I’ve sprayed with some olive oil

Spray now that my right is in a flat layer it’s  time for the next layer of our crab mixture one   pound of flaky crab that I’m going to take out  and break apart and I am going to finally chop

Into itty bitty pieces I started doing this  and got about halfway through when I realized   I should be using my pampered chef manual chopper  for this it’s a perfect tool for this [Music] job to to our minced crab we’re adding 1/4 cup  of Kewpie mayonnaise, Kewpie is a Japanese mayo

And it really is worth it if you can find this it  has that great Umami flavor that really makes the   sushi and I’m adding about 1 teaspoon of sriracha  if you like things a little spicier by all means

Add a little bit more but I like it a little more  on the mild side so I’m going to stir that in and   I noticed about Sriracha it used to be like the  most popular ingredient everything was Sriracha

Flavored but actually now it’s a little bit harder  to find but when you do you do want to add it into   this dish now I made this the night before the  actual event so what I’m doing now is I’m just

Going to beat up one egg and I’m going to put  that to the side and keep it in the fridge and   mix it right before the party begins that way my  crab mixture is not sitting in the fridge for a

Day with that egg in it here it is the day of the  party I am now ready to add that egg into the crab   mixture get that all Blended now I’m adding this  special ingredient on top to of my rice this is

Fake and it is a Japanese multi-purpose seasoning  it contains white and black sesame seeds Nori so   some black seaweed some salt and kelp powder it’s  going to give it that authentic Sushi flavoring I   was able to find this at my local Walmart so  hopefully this is an accessible ingredient I

Think it just adds that Umami and that special  flavoring that really gives it that authentic   Sushi taste so if you can find it great if not  I wouldn’t worry about it maybe get black sesame   seeds or white sesame seeds to put on top I  went ahead and put my crab mixture and then

I did another little sprinkle of our fruikake I  then am drizzling on top the kewpie Mayo as well   as I’m going to put a little bit of the Sriracha  this is to make it visually pleasing as well as

Add a little bit more of those flavors into the  sushi I am just putting a little drizzle to that   Sriracha trying to not have it too spicy and look  how great it looks into the oven 350° it goes for

35 minutes and wait a second what is he doing  he’s stealing a shrimp that’s what happens when   you turn your back and you leave the appetizers  unattended too funny this Sushi bake turned out   fantastic everybody loved it I just served it with  some cucumbers green onions and Nori sheets on the

Side we are now going to make a Savory brie  sundried Tomatoes pesto my large brie wheel   and some parsley for garnish first thing we’re  going to do is we’re going to score our brie cheese the reason I’m scoring the cheese  is because the oil from the tomatoes and

The pasta will just ooze and seep into  the cheese making it even more [Music] flavorful I’m cutting the sundried tomatoes into  smaller pieces and I’m doing this on parchment   paper cuz that oil can tend to stain your cutting  board so I am doing it on this paper instead I’m

Going to add about a tablespoon of minced garlic  to the tomatoes and then I’m going to drizzle   just a little bit of that oil to help with the  consistency I decided to step it up and use our

Good pesto this comes from fences we get it at the  farmers market when we can’t get it there we order   it online it’s our favorite it’s lemon pesto so  I’m actually going to use that on our brie I give

The pesto a good stir because that oil usually  sits on top and now I’m just going to spread it   entirely over the brie wheel and then I’m going to  add the sundried tomatoes on top of that I’m going

To get a good layer making sure it’s completely  coated and then I am going to wrap this up because   I’m not ready to heat it until the day of the  party so I’m going to wrap it in the parchment

Paper and then wrap that in Saran Wrap and put  that in the fridge until I’m ready to bake it to   go with that Bree I want to have toasted baguette  slices I’m going to prepare this in advance what

I’m going to do is just slice up the baguette and  put it in a plastic bag and keep it in the fridge   until the day of the party then I’ll take it out  and I have the Pampered Chef entertainment wear

So I can cook the baguette and the Bree all on  the same platter and put it in the oven and bake   at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes this turned out so  delicious and it was so easy to make the flavors

Are perfect now let’s make our jalapeno popper  bites we start with one block of cream cheese   add one cup of cheddar cheese a/4 cup of pickled  jalapenos half a cup of diced bacon bits and two   tablespoons of green onions I’m also going to  add about a teaspoon of some garlic powder if

You don’t have pickled jalapenos you can use  regular or any kind of jalapeno you want based   on the heat level you prefer I give that a good  stir until everything is combined and now I’m

Ready to make our cups with these wonton wrappers  I coat them with oil and put them in my muffin   tin we’re going to bake them at 350 for about 6  minutes till they get crisp and now I’m going to

Take my filling and put one medium scoop with my  scooper from pampered chef into each of those won [Music] wrappers back into the oven for 3 to  5 minutes and you end up with the perfect bite

Oh my gosh everyone loved this so much they all  wanted the recipe next up we’re making meatballs   because you can’t have a party without some sort  of Meatball variation and this time we’re going   sweet and tangy okay we’re making our sweet and  tangy sauce for our meatballs we’re going to

Start with 2/3 a cup of our hoison sauce 1/4  a cup of soy sauce 1/4 a cup of rice vinegar   about 2 teaspoons of minced garlic and about a  tablespoon of sriracha we’re going to get that

To a boil I’m going to go ahead and double the  recipe I decided it needed more so another 2/3   of hoison soy sauce that was a four a cup so now  it’s a total of a half of soy sauce a little more

Garlic and Sriracha four a cup of vinegar so  we’re going to make a lot of Meatballs I get   that up to a simmer and that’s what’s so great  about the Pampered Chef everyday rock rock pan

Is that you can make the sauce on the stove add  your frozen meatballs and you’re just going to   take that entire everyday pan and insert it into  the base of the slow cooker I just stirred them

In with that sauce and now I’m going to put  them on high cuz they’re frozen so we’ll do   high for Just 2 hours check on them and then move  them to warm cuz they should be heated through at

That point the next appetizer we’re making is  this crab rangoon dip and we’re going to serve   it with won chips so we’ll start with our won  wraps that I’m going to put on a cookie sheet

And spray with olive oil spray and use my pastry  brush to get that olive oil all on the wrap I’m   going to sprinkle it with garlic salt and then I’m  using a pizza cutter to cut them in half that way

They’re more dippable you put them in the oven  for about 5 minutes and you got to watch these   they can burn so easily and even catch on fire  I’ve heard so do stay with them the whole time I

Coated one batch with sesame oil and sesame seeds  to give it a little variation then I store them in   a plastic bag and I’m going to keep them on the  counter until the day of the party and serve it

With our dip let’s go ahead and make that dip  we’re adding to our Bowl one block of softened   cream cheese a half a cup of mayonnaise and a/4  a cup of sour cream 1 teaspoon of worcestshire

Sauce and 1 tbspoon of lemon juice mix on medium  high with your hand mixer for about 2 minutes nice and fluffy now to our bowl we’re  going to add our two cans of white crab

Meat give that a quick stir to get all that crab  meat mixed in and then we’re going to add A4 of   a cup of fresh parmesan cheese a half a cup of  shredded mozzarella cheese and then we also have

A3 a cup of mozzarella reserved for the top right  before baking I’m adding half a tablespoon of   minced garlic and then I’m just going to combine  everything again before adding to our dish I have

This entertainment wear what it is is a ceramic  dish goes in the center and it sits on a hot plate   so connects like that and it has an on/off switch  so it stays warm on that hot plate I’ll cook this

Tomorrow in the oven with that extra mozzarella on  top and then during the party we’ll keep it on our Warmer this dip turned out so delicious and so  creamy and it was those wonton chips that took   it up a notch you definitely want to make them  with this dip next up we’re making hogs in a   blanket we’re going to take one package of beef  smoked sausage that’s already been cooked and

We’re going to cut it into four equal lengths  now what is so great about this recipe is the   size of which you’re going to have these rolls I  love any variation on pigs in a blanket and this

Is just a little bit different so you’re going  to have one package of crescent rolls and you’re   going to divide it into your four sections and  then you’re going to make sure you flatten it   and have all of the seams pinched together that  way when you roll up your sausage link no tears

Or holes appear so roll that up tightly and  put it on a tray until you’re ready to cut It you’re going to bake these at 375° for  15 minutes or until golden brown I served   it with a honey mustard sauce and the only  thing I regret was not making more up next   we’re making bacon wrap dates I make this  usually at every party what I’m doing now is

Taking out the pits because when you get them  from Aldi they do come with pits in them so I   do want to remove those first I’m putting  goat cheese but you can be creative with   any cheese you can use blue cheese havarti  swiss cheese whatever you like and that’s

How you can make it different each time I am  going to add those in and I’m going to wrap   it now with my bacon I start by cutting the  bacon into thirds and then we roll them all Up I like to cook these in the air fryer for about  8 to 10 minutes cuz then they get extra crispy and   that’s my favorite they are the best the last  thing I’m making which is the item I make every

Single party is my homemade guacamole this is  five avocados tomatoes garlic lime juice salt and   cilantro I have added all the recipes below in the  description box another thing you can do is throw

In a dip from Sam’s or Costco into a crock pot  and also a shrimp ring would be a fabulous easy   throw on the table appetizer oh yeah we also made  tenderloin that day everything turned out so great

I think my guests were impressed I hope you were  too and you found inspiration thank you as always   for watching and for tuning in I really appreciate  it if you’ve gotten this far go ahead and hit
