Life in NYC has been feeling busier than usual this winter with half marathon training, cooking, eating good food and balancing coaching calls, creator events and social life 🙂 made the most of a four day work week celebrating my friend’s birthday, recorded a podcast swap, got a haircut, met up with friends, found moments of rest in between and explored some new restaurants xx

Because it’s a 3-day weekend to celebrate my friend my’s birthday she just moved to New York and we went to this really really cool Speak Easy in the East Village called studio51 we had some like sushi when we got there stayed until like 2: a.m. until it closed the

DJ was playing like only Brazilian music which was the coolest thing ever and he was Brazilian and we were all like Latinos and we just had the best time I literally didn’t even drink that much but I was just high on life like dancing

All night it was so so fun today is my F’s birthday so we’re about to go meet her for brunch at Bubbies and Tribeca what an amazing way to start this week in my life this is also my last full week in New York until go to Brazil for

Wedding planning and I’m going with my mom which should be super fun so let’s go eat some Food the line at Bubbies right now is literally insane so we’re trying to decide if we’re going to stay here and wait it out because the pancakes are so good here they’re so good or if we’re going to try going somewhere else Ginger latte I’m going to try the honey Ginger L that M what it’s so good no you’re kidding it’s sweet but it’s good I did not like the honey Ginger L okay update brunch was phenomenal the food was amazing last time we went to Bubbies we were together when my I was here in October and they were celebrating and having an amazing day and now we walked to the Tribeca Bean the bean it’s the Moment 25 the sun right now is glowing it’s truly a perfect day we’re just walking around Tribeca we’re going to go to Soho for a little bit and we’re just wandering and this is literally like my favorite Vibe not having a very set plans and just seeing where the day goes

This weekend so I’m looking forward to just really resting and Decompressing Good morning it isely dark outside still 6:00 a.m. and I’m going to a workout class called motive kind of like a physical therapy strength training class and I’m going with the team of girls that are running the New York City Half Marathon with me with straa I’m starting

To learn how to wake up at 6:00 a.m. because I usually wake up at like 700 7:30 this is pretty early for me and I’m like so tired even though I laid in bed yesterday at like 10:30 that’s still kind of late for me tried to go to bed

Earlier but then I like had to do some things and got lost with my track of time but I’m excited I think it’ll be a really lovely class and have such a busy day of coaching calls and podcast recording in a studio today so we’re getting the day going bright and early

Even though it’s not bright it’s actually dark the best pre-workout honestly I’m also going to have a quick Coffee on my way to the workout class and literally there were so many delays in the subway right and early 4 7: a.m. so I got stuck there for like 15 minutes so I’m late to the class now I don’t like being late but sometimes things are out

Of our control and we just got to roll with it I’m also well aware that I look absolutely crazy right now the things we have to do to stay warm being real we’re going to smile in three two one so cute y’all we just finished the motive class

Go on my podcast I also have to do some YouTube editing work it’s a good day when it’s sunny in New York Everything feels okay and also the Sun is setting a little bit later now it’s setting at like 5:45 instead of like 4:45 so having

An extra hour of daylight is also just making me so happy and so is waking up early like waking up at 6:00 a.m. this morning was so hard but it pays off we’re doing well okay I am off to my coaching call now and I’ll see you guys

Later had our wedding invitation meeting which went so well I’m super excited because this graphic designer is super professional and if we end up going with her our wedding invitation is just going to turn out so pretty and I have a new coaching client which I’m so excited

About I love working one-on-one with people and supporting people on their inner growth Journey it just feels so amazing to see all my clients just activate self-love a better relationship with food in their body and it’s just so special we love that and I have around 30 minutes I’m going to make some

Grilled chicken and some zucchini on a pan and I have some orzo from last night so I’m just going to have that for lunch and then I’m going to make my way over to Soho to record the podcast real chicken from farmer Focus hummus orzo and then some zucchini Garlic powder paprika Oregano My Lunch is ready that was so fast I literally pulled that off in 20 minutes and I have like about 20 minutes to eat and then I have to head out looking glorious we got the leftover orzo some chicken some zucchini some hummus also this hummus is really really good and

Then I’m listening to my podcast I missed me which I always like to do before I’m having any guest on my podcast just like listen to them being on other podcasts or if they have their own podcast I love listening to theirs so that’s what I’m doing that’s what I’m

Going to do as I eat and then we’re Off I feel like I’m literally always in SoHo like I come here so so often I just left the podcast Studio that was really fun pod swap will be live probably at the end of March I’m going to stop at Sephora now because I need to pick up

Some brow gel and then I’m going to head back home and I’m going to stop by trater Joe’s on the way back I just got back from Trader Joe so let’s do a grocery haul for veggies I got some shredded cabbage grocery sprouts and kale some green beans I’ve been really into herbs recently so I got some dill some sage and some mint some baby carrots which is so good to snack on

Crini mushrooms tomatoes and then for protein I got lentils chicken bread breast tenders ground turkey at aame and some Chumps for snacking also and also some egg whites some garbanzo beans a sweet onion and some garlic powder and for fruit I got banana and pineapple and

Then I also got some sweet potato and some squash because I’m in squash phas and I’m loving it that is everything that I got today can be can to pool and then like go out that or like go on a boat during the day but then like maybe

Dinner I feel like that’s like a fun vibe I don’t know what do you Good morning I look a little bit crazy I slept in today it’s 9:30 just folded some laundry had my banana had my coffee and I need need to go on my interval training for the week and I’m really not looking forward to it today you guys because I know it’s going to be

Challenging also I want to do it outside today because I’ve done it in a treadmill for the last few times and I just feel like I want to try doing it outside but I will say I am procrastinating getting ready because I’m really not feeling it this morning

And like I so much more prefer just running like an easy run or running a long run than doing these freaking intervals but I already had my food I already had my coffee and I need to go and it’s going to feel good I know I’m going to feel super energized going into

The rest of my day it’s going to help me do my good work it’s going to help me stay focused but I’m not going to lie I’m just really not I’m not feeling it today we’re going to do the thing so let’s go get ready okay I have changed

And I was just giving myself a little pep talk I was like okay we’re doing the thing you get to go on a run you get to move your body you get to listen to music you get to go outside so we’re going to do the damn thing I need to get

Outside like I need to go so let’s go I’m like a little over a mile in and once I hit two I’m going to start the intervals okay where I’m is complete I’m on lap three of eight and I’m actually running way faster than I should be on

The printing little parts of 0.1 miles but this is actually kind of fun thought it going to be so hard and so horrible but it’s actually really nice back from my run and feeling so good it ended up being 6 miles and I ran

For like more than an hour but it was so fun so I’m going to take a shower it’s time for breakfast I’m so excited I think think I’m going to do like a tropical yogurt bowl today bowl today because I have pineapple and I have Kiwi so pretty also I forgot to show you guys but we got new dining chairs which Pedro was building yesterday and they look so nice actually really really like them and here is our finished product looks amazing I’m so Excited I’m about to hop on my call I’m going to make myself a Mattra Yummy hello hi beautiful how are you I’m literally feeling so good because I had my question call and then after that I had a call with my accountant and I figured out a bunch of stuff for my taxes which is honestly something that I dread doing like I think most people

Don’t feel excited to do tax documents and calculations and whatever but it’s something that is time sensitive and that I needed and wanted to do sooner rather than later so that felt amazing and I just finished so I’m going to have a little afternoon snack SL small lunch

Because I’m meeting some friends for dinner in 3 hours and I’m hungry I have two options I can either do kind of like a toast situation or I have leftovers from yesterday this is the beauty of leftovers I just took everything that was leftover from yesterday and I’m going to add a little

Dollop of hummus I might throw in some pesto I’m not sure a bit of fet pesto first mix it around it’s not the most protein packed lunch I will say little bit of pepper a little bit of everything with the bagel seasoning and we are done I’m going these are so nutritious delicious Love youber is basically Here walking in this Village to take this way home There is a life I lead in this city hurrying to cut my tea I can take what I need to get by it doesn’t make it easy the good morning happy Thursday I’m about to go on my run for the day and I am actually meeting up with a friend

Called Alia who I have watched on YouTube for so long and we had never met in real life and we met up at an event the last week and just kind of became friends and so we’re going to run together in Prospect Park because she’s also retaining for a half marathon today

Later because I hated it and it was like way shorter than I wanted so I’m literally trying to find an appointment so let’s manifest it I’m a lucky girl so I think it can happen anyway rant over let’s go get some work done take me back where I Bel I want it

Did the PDF recipe guide uploaded all of that did my email and then it was like noon so I went to the gym and got back it’s like 12:50 now and I have a coaching call at 1:00 and while I was at the gym I asked Pedro who was working

From home today if he could prepare lunch for us and he was such a king he is so good at cooking now because I have taught him so many different things and it turned out so good but I don’t have time to eat before my meeting so I’m

Going to hop on my call eat really quick after it and then I have a hair appointment because I am getting a little hair cut I’m not trying to take off much length but I want to give it a little chop but let me show you guys

The way that my hair was that I was not using enough heat protectant and it’s really true like I use my Dyson on my hair so often but I don’t put enough heat protectant because I dice in my hair when it’s dry so frequently so he was saying you can get treatments you

Can do hair masks you can do all the things but if you don’t put heat protectant on you’re always going to be damaging your hair and it almost makes no sense for you to do a hair mask because you’re just still going to keep your hair in the same exact place if you

Keep damaging it but I am super happy with how it turned out and I’m on my way back home now such a good day feeling so confident I stopped at the grocery store to pick up a couple things let me show you guys what I got got some protein

Snacks so some turkey breast some yogurt cottage cheese also it’s been a while since I bought cottage cheese so I’m excited I’ve got some fun Beverages and some popcorn Beach Ginger recess which I love ginger ollipop lemon lime ollipop and some orange juice for Pedro I also

Got us some chocolate milk chocolate for pidro dark chocolate for me a salty one which I love and then I also got some pasta just in case we need it and this pasta sauce tomato basil with no sugar added fomi and M bean fetuccini and then Cy which I love from bonso

Yummy these ice cubes that I made for the gallentine that I hosted they’re like glittery and they have Rose in them we going to make high protein pasta Tonight Dinner is served I popped mine with a little bit of the leftover chicken from from lunch and so easy and Delicious It’s Saturday morning and I’m off to a workout class this morning called regen they invited me in and I have never tried it before and it’s supposed to be like optimized for women’s body and it’s a mix of Pilates and strength training so I’m really excited and I’m on my way Now okay you guys quick update that class was really really good as you guys probably know I don’t do a ton of workout classes I usually just work out in my gym where I go on runs so this was the first time I tried a new workout

Class in a while and I absolutely loved it regen is basically a combination of her former Pilates and then strength training which has been scientifically shown to be two of the best movements for women’s bodies and it felt so good the class flew by I always like when

It’s like half and half because you feel so accomplished when you finish it and also it goes by really fast and now I have an hour between my class and brunch that I’m getting with my friend Maya I have not seen her in forever my friend

MAF who just moved to New York lives really close to where I was before so I’m just going to go see her and we’re probably going to go get a quick little mascha catch up such a fun Saturday so far and it was also so lovely to have
