My oven is preheating to 400° F and I went in with 2 tbspoon of olive oil there you know what we haven’t done meat free Monday in quite a while and this is a breakfast potato I usually do on the week um eggs and this your perfect

Combination however if you wanted to use it as a dinner sort a roasted potato it’s totally up to you and you know I must mention that while well two things I am not affiliated with any of the brands that you see here yeah and number two I usually you

Know I try my best to keep away from these things the Italian seasoning is cool because I know what’s in there but the Creole seasoning there’s some stuff I can’t pronounce on there um so yeah we have to yeah my oven 400° F singing it’s telling me it’s ready I am not

Affiliated with the brand and usually I don’t use prepackaged stuff in my food because you know my forefathers never did that we’re going to go in with sea salt and we’re going to go light with the salt because I know that crayo seasoning can be a bit salty and

Speaking about forefathers and yo this is not a Caribbean recipe there is a Caribbean version of this that I shared a while back and all it was is I use Caribbean green seasoning which I will add some in here but that was the major sort of um flavor

Enhancer in the recipe itself and that is something Mommy would make for us all she would do is salt black pepper a bit of oil well no oil but Caribbean green seasoning and then fry it this time we’re doing it in oven and if you’re interested in a version done in the air

Fryer you know drop a comment down below and I’ll do the air fryer version so so far Salt black pepper come on baby don’t let me down there we go fresh ground black pepper you know I love a black pepper then it’s time for that Italian seasoning and I’ve got the Creole

Seasoning and that has paprika dehydrated garlic onion all that kind of niceness in there as well too and the final thing is some Caribbean green seasoning and that’s going to give it that fresh herbal sort of note and Caribbean green seasoning if you head over to caribbeanpot.com I have a few

Versions of this a big batch version and a small batch version and the small bash version again available at caribbeanpot.com is for those of you who don’t use it to often I use this practically every day so I make a big batch essentially what it is is a

Combination of fresh herbs along with garlic seasoning peppers and um other niceties in here my base is olive oil and it’s pureed and Blended or Blended whether you put in a food processor or a blender it’s totally up to you and we keep it in the fridge some

Some people keep it in the in the freezer in in ice blocks but it goes into just about everything we cook in the Caribbean Spanish speaking Caribbean G version the French speaking Caribbean gter version so head over to caribbeanpot.com for that recipe yeah all we’ll need to do now is to give that

A good mix and then we’re going to get our baking tray line it with some parchment paper so clean up is easier after and we’re going to put it into the oven 400° F you know as I said this is great for breakfast on the week we can or you know lunch if you wanted to do it for lunch if you wanted to do dinner have it as your potatoes for dinner that is totally up to you and if you wanted you can fry

These off if I were frying it I wouldn’t add any of that olive oil in there um but I added the olive oil to mimic that frying in the oven but as I said if you wanted the air fryer version of this because I know everybody going crazy

With the air fryer lately so yeah if you want that recipe drop a comment down below all man go sort all you out it’s about time to head into the oven see I have my tray it’s been parchment lined everything’s on there and all of the the

Sort of oil it’s important you get the oil from here and you drizzle it onto the potato halfway through you’re going to flip them and yeah that’s about it it’s been 15 minutes in the oven I’m taken it out and I’m going to flip them over now and back into the oven to

Finish off another 15 minutes so basically 30 minutes in total and we’ve got these lovely roasted potato wedges in the oven breakfast lunch dinner whether you want to do it for breakfast as I said I’m going to make a couple easy over eggs and I’m good what I do

Like doing is giving it a final toss after it comes out of the oven just to be able to pick up some more of that seasoning and that seasoned oil that sitting on the parchment paper here sup soldiers listen if you enjoy this recipe I’d really appreciate it if you

Hit subscribe and click that Bell notification thing if you’ve made the recipe take a picture and send it to me email address down here a trying to tell people the email address them buts will take the address and do all kind of thing with it and tag me on Instagram at

  1. Glad you mentioned the crap they add Chris. I have a few of my home grown potatoes left, having this recipe today :)I have had some serious conversations with my son of late, encouraging him to look closely at ingredients before buying. Almost makes you think someone is trying to poison us….. The sun has been blocked out here in the UK, cant wait to cultivate the organic allotment I help tend. Best way to avoid their poisons.

  2. Good recipe. I make all my seasoning blends…taco, cajun etc from scratch and keep them in mason jars. That way I avoid all the preservatives, fillers etc and control the sodium

  3. I'm here for oven roasted goodness! I just started doing my fresh veggies this way and I can't see myself making them any other way.

  4. I had this one potato that had seen better days. Saw your recipie this morning and made it in the air fryer. I added green seasoning as well. Turned out great.
