Hey guys welcome back to my channel this is Anie and if you are new welcome I am on a weight loss journey and on this video I’m going to I know I’m going to do two um dinner recipes that we go to a lot um and I’m going to try one new one

I hope so that’s my goal uh but tonight I’m cooking a spicy Cajun pasta and um or spicy sausage pasta I for oh always get it mixed up cuz I have several of these recipes this one that I’m doing tonight is got mainly just the sausage in it so you can substitute the

Sausage for uh chicken if you want to bring the points down um whatever works for you um but anyway I wanted to uh tell you guys I was going to throw in a couple of recipes that are easy fast uh goto um you know midweek meals that will

Keep you from uh sport surging in the Drive-Thru or anything like that so these help me and my family loves when my kids will eat them matter of fact all my kids decided to have other plans tonight after I started cooking so I have some that I’m going to meal prep

For my lunch this week and so after I said I don’t meal prep I just got thrown into a meal prep so that’s but that’s good for me so um anyway follow me along for my recipe and I hope you guys enjoy this okay guys so I have pulled out I

Have a recipe card that I have showed y’all before they usually put all my stuff on and this is extremely simple to make I almost can do it by heart almost all right so all this sorry okay life with dogs uh anyway so what we

Use here is um 13 oz of this T turkey sausage you’re going to do 10 oz of the protein pasta um and then we’re going to do a can of Rotel some chicken broth it calls for 4 oz of reduced fat pepper jack cheese and I

Always have a hard time finding that so I’m just going to substitute in some f fat-free mozzarella and let’s see if I forgot anything minced garlic and salt and pepper so this is extremely easy so let me go ahead and show you how we’re going to put all this

Together all right guys so I have my Skillet here ready um I put a little Pam in the skillet to keep it from sticking and then I’ve got my um olive oil spray that I use and um tonight I’m only going to use half of the sausage because we

Actually don’t care for a ton of meat in our dishes so I’m going to cut back half of it but you go ahead and add the whole thing if your family likes it I mean it’s not going to make a difference on the calories I mean it will but what I’m

Saying is it’s already low calorie so anyway I just wanted to throw that in there and also this is turkey sausage I don’t know if I said that so I’m going to get this to sauté in and then uh we’ll be right back okay so I’ve kind of got this uh stir

Fry or I don’t know what you call it sauté in whatever you want to call it um and then I’m going to do about a tablespoon of minced garlic and you just kind of move that around try not to burn your garlic oh my gosh it smells so good so you just kind

Of get this going and let it kind of heat into um all the flavors heat together with the sausage and the garlic um and also you can add more garlic if you like more uh depends on your taste okay so this is where you have to

Move a little fast so I already have everything ready um to go so I have two and A4 cup of my chicken broth here go ahead and put that in then I’ve got 10 oz of my protein pasta measured out and I did forget to tell you that

It’s a half a cup of fat free half and half so I’ve got that ready and so you want to kind of have all the liquids ready so you can put it all together and then a can of your rot tail and once you get all that in the um

Skillet you kind of you know mix it in real good I am so sorry my sweet puppies they just they can’t quit talking today uh but anyway I’m going to bring this back to a simmer and then once this gets to a simmer you you turn it back down to

A low and you kind kind of cook the pasta and then we’ll be adding the cheese and the salt and pepper here in just a minute okay guys I’ve got this kind of at a good boil right now so I’m going to let that kind of work its magic and I’m

Going to give it a few seconds and then I’m going to turn it down to kind of a medium medium low heat and let that cook the pasta and then when we return I will Top it with some more salt pepper and maybe a little extra garlic um for my

Kinder seasoning and then the mozzarella cheese and that will be all at takes this is one of the easiest fastest most delicious meals that we make and my kids love it so we make it a lot okay guys I’ve let this kind of uh cook for about 10 to 13 minutes give or

Take um I’ve got 4 oz of the mozzarella the fat-free mozzarella so I’m going to just dump that in here and just kind of mix that in and I’m going to let this sit for a few minutes and then it will be ready to eat and the serving size is

A cup and A4 of a cup one and 1/4 cup and then like I always do I will put up the points and the calories for my serving size and I usually serve this with one kind of a vegetable or a salad so does not look good okay

Guys okay guys so there is my one and a 1 and 1/4 cup serving um and I’ll put the points and calorie up okay so I’m going to meal prep these I’m going to put three uh half2 cup servings in here and I’m going to round this up to 250 for my calorie

Count and I guess you may just want to add a point if you’re uh going to meal prep you know for the Weight Watchers that way I may only get three of these but that’s okay so that way nothing goes to waste and I’ve got at least three

Lunches yep I got three lunches okay so this worked out good and uh you know like I always say my ADV advice is to double or even triple your recipe so you have extra for your lunches so there’s three low calorie lunches hey guys good morning so I’m going to add

Another easy quick um recipe in here so I when I was growing up we used to make what I called cream chipped beef on toast and I’m not even sure if anybody knows what that is it’s it’s not really that common I don’t guess but anyway um basically it’s made with flour and

Butter and milk and it’s you make a gravy and you put a chip beef in it um so anyway I have come up with a way I’m going to try it this morning to to lower the calories and the points and it’s really it’s it’s so easy to make it

Looks like so we’re going to try it it’s um one package of this pineer peppered gravy and a package of the Carl budding the beef one and then I have right here my 45 calorie uh bread so I think all I’m going to do is uh stir fry or

Sauté the beef a little bit with a little bit of my olive oil spray instead of adding butter that’ll be a big difference and then you basically with this peppered beef you just add water and it’s so easy so let’s get to cooking and see how this turns

Out okay guys so I have my ch chipped beef I’ve got it um I chopped it up a little bit into little pieces and I’ve got a little bit of my um olive oil spray in the pan to kind of sauté this and in the back I have uh a half a cup

And a half of water I’m getting bringing it to a bowl so for the gravy basically all you do is you take your gravy pack and I have half a cup of cold water and let me move you guys over here for a second okay so what it say you do get

All this out of the background oops okay you add the gravy mix to the cold water and you just kind of mix that together and then when the um cup and a half of the boiling water is done you pour this gravy mix into that and then that finish you know

Making mix so once that water is ready we will do that and I’m telling guys this is so easy all right so I’ll leave that alone let’s go back to over here and like you can see this is you just kind of want to cook this until um

You just kind of get it like a little crispy not you know not not a lot just kind of warm it up move it around and just sauté it just a little bit that’s all you really want it okay okay okay guys so you can see that the water

Is come to a boil so I’m going to add this gravy mix to that and get that mix in and once this is um mixed well I’m going to add it to my chip beef here in the front it just says to let it kind of thicken and remove some heat so that’s

What I’m going to do right here and doesn’t take long this is so easy okay I’m going to let that sit just a second and my beef is looking really good here you just cook this how how you think you want it cooked and that’s

About where I want it so I’m going to add the gravy to this and then we’re going to let this sit off it’s very very smelling very good okay I’m going to turn this heat off and you kind of let that just mix in now one thing I always

Do when I’m making this sorry I had to grab it I forgot is add a little wor toar sauce and I’m going to add a little salt pepper and that’s it guys and I’m going to go ahead and toast my put my toast in the toaster and I’ll serve this up and

Show you guys okay guys there is my toast and I have half a cup of the gravy mixture on top now I always add a little extra pepper on mine cuz I just like the extra pepper taste but you do you um so yeah this this is going to be amazing let’s try

It all right let’s give it a try I used to make this homemade with all the butter and the stuff and I know it’s not low calorie M tastes just like it wow oh my God okay see you can lose weight and still eat the food you love you just got to

Find different little ways to do it little hacks this is one going in the books for me I thought about this recipe the other day when I used it um on one of my recipes I think it was for my hash browns or something I forgot what it was

But anyway I was like if that’s low calorie I can add the chip beef at a small amounts on 45 calorie toast and I have the same tasting stuff for less calories don’t even miss the taste this is amazing guys okay I’m going to go eat

Hey guys I’m back it’s my third meal for this video um and I think after this I’m going to post this so y’all get three meals in this one video um but I’m fixing to make my bang bang shrimp and it’s extremely easy it looks easy I

Haden’t made it yet but I think it’s going to be good so let me show you what I’m going to use so I’m going to use these carbonada N noodles because they’re lower in calories and you get a little bit more for it um and I’ll

Measure those out to you what I use I’m I’m only making this for one person because nobody in my family um eats shrimp but me so I’m just going to show you what I’m doing for one serving but you’ll have to what I make just add to

That for each person kind of thing um so anyway I’ve got um my shrimp I’ve got six large shrimp defrosting in this bowl and then um I’ll show you how I’m going to put this like what goes in the sauce here in just a second so let’s get to

Cooking okay so also I was going to show you that the serving size on this uh noodle bag it’s uh two cups dry for 170 but I decided I don’t want that much pasta so I’m just going to do one cup which is about and that’s plenty for me

Once I add the um shrimp on top of that so I’m just going to do half a serving of the noodles uh let me get this to Boiling okay so before I get anything started cooking I was going to make the bang bang sauce and let me show you what

I’m going to use so um for my one serving I’m doing 1/8 a cup of light mayo and put that in the bowl and then this is that Thai Sweet chili sauce I’m going to do about 1/8 of that sauce with the mayonnaise okay and then what you do

After that is um about one teaspoon of minced garlic or garlic clove I’ll add that to the sauce and then it calls for just a dash of red pepper flakes this is basically this is on your taste bud level you have to judge that um and then about a um I’m

G to say about half a teaspoon of this onion powder it’s a little bit of that and uh let’s see let me make sure I’ve used everything okay that’s everything okay and then at the end it says to um do let me get my lime out

Sorry I should have had this ready it says a squeeze of lime or lime juice so I have a lime I bought yesterday and I’m just going to squeeze that in the sauce and that’s it for the bang bang sauce so we’re going to get this mixed

Up and I’m going to set it to the side and then once the um shrimp is cooked and the pasta this is what you’ll put on top so there’s the sauce okay guys I have my shrimp uh peeled and ready to sauté the only thing

I have in here is the um olive oil and I put a little bit of mint garlic and I’m going to do about half a teaspoon of paprika we’re going to sauté this on low for a few minutes and kind of get the shrimp to turn that pink color you want

And when this is done you literally add the noodles or pasta to the dish and then we top it with the bang bang sauce and that’s how easy this is um and then I’ve got my zucchini and my onion going in the background to go as my side

Anytime I try to eat uh like a pasta dish I do try to pair it with a vegetable um that’s low calorie or zero point so all right let me get the shrimp sautéing and then we’re going to put all this together and I’ll show you how easy this

Is okay guys I have already flipped the um shrimp one time and like I said just kind of cook it slow you don’t want to overcook your shrimp but it’s extremely easy to cook just takes a few minutes shrimp do take long and in just a second

The pasta will be ready and we’re going to put all this Together okay so I went ahead and put the shrimp shrimp in the sauce and just kind of cold it from keeping on Heating and uh cooking and then I’m going to put this together in my Skillet and I’ve got the pasta ready so I’m going to put all this together all

Right and you just kind of stir this all in together and that’s your serving size cuz like I said this was for one person um and we’re going to serve this up and give it a taste and I’ll let you guys know what I think but look how easy that

Was I used to kind of be intimidated on cooking pasta seafood dishes but not anymore okay guys let’s give this a taste I’m going get a little bit of the pasta sauce and the shrimp on one fork and let’s see m okay that is good I was a little worried

About the sauce because like I said I’ve never made it before that is good you almost depends on if you want it creamier you can leave uh some of the mayonnaise out just add a little bit kind of adjust the mayonnaise but I kind of like the creamy

With the pasta if I were to make bang bang shrimp by itself I might just do everything but the Mayo and of course you’d have less calories and points but that is good so I’m going to go eat and I’m fixing to put my zucchini on the

Side and I’m going to have a really big supper but low calorie low point and that’s how you do it okay guys I’m done eating that was so good I would say less Mayo just a touch of mayo is all the sauce needs for the

Pasta but you do need it I think for a creamy pasta sauce but I’ve had Bang Bang Shrimp before like at a restaurant as an appetizer and it’s just the um sweet chili sauce with some flavoring in it so I think if I was just eating just regular shrimp without pasta I would

Just eliminate the Mayo but this was a really good recipe um it’s low calorie you know it’s just a few ingredients so easy and I just wanted to thank you guys for being here and I hope these um recipes have helped you and inspired you

Like I said I’m on a journey to find interesting things different things to eat so I don’t feel like I need to run out to the nearest restaurant every time I turn around and when I do go out to eat I can enjoy knowing that when I’m

  1. Yessss I grew up with creamed chip beef on toast. My mom called it "shit on a shingle" also ate lots of creamed eggs on toast. Exact same recipe but it's chopped hardboiled eggs instead of the chipped beef. Soooo good! My kids ask for it all the time
