Today I’m sharing a favorite of ours, gluten free pumpkin pancakes from scratch!

A lot of the pumpkin pancake recipes I’ve found call for pancake mix, but that can be hard to come by if you’re trying to stay gluten free. This recipe is great because you will most likely have all of the ingredients already in your pantry!

Good morning guys it’s andrea from the blog pine and prospect home and i don’t normally record videos on saturdays it’s an early saturday morning my kitchen is north facing so it’s very dark in here in the mornings so i apologize for that i’ve got all the

Lights on and you’re going to hear kids playing in the background but that’s okay because today i want to show you how to make pumpkin pancakes and we’re making a gluten-free version this morning so that i can have them too but you could definitely use regular flour with this recipe

I just love these so much we’ve already had them like three times this season sorry about my kids in the background but i want to show you guys uh how i make them uh they’re very simple to put together and they are absolutely delicious so the first thing that you’re going to

Need uh you want to put your dry ingredients together this is a combination of my mom’s classic pancake recipe and the pumpkin pancake recipe that a sweet lady in church gave to me so for your dry ingredients you’ll want two cups of flour My my little two-year-old singing in the background i’m so sorry about that two cups of flour a teaspoon of salt a teaspoon of baking soda one in three quarter teaspoon of baking powder a teaspoon of cinnamon a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice and then two teaspoons of sugar so i’m gonna mix

These together see if i can find a whisk here just a second we’re gonna use a fork so once you have your dry ingredients all mixed together then you can start on your wet Ingredients you want to help you want to come here all right can you say hi all right so for my wet ingredients you’re going to use a half a cup of brown sugar one egg and then half of a can of pure pumpkin puree so uh

About seven and a half ounces is what the recipe calls for so we’re gonna put this right in Here All right All right once you have all of your wet ingredients mixed up you’re just going to combine them with your dry ingredients and then uh oh i forgot to mention it also calls for a cup and a half of water i mix it up okay now i put in water oh yeah Can i make it can you pour the water in yeah nice and slow buddy good job Nice don’t spill it okay All right so with our pumpkin pancakes my husband is going to keep cooking them over there we always have homemade whipped cream and i just throw about three tablespoons of sugar in my kitchenaid stand mixer and then about a cup of heavy whipping cream and we’ll whip this up until we have

Some delicious homemade whipped cream So all right well i hope you guys enjoy this recipe if you are new to my channel i’d love for you to hit that subscribe button i’ll see you guys next time bye

  4. Thank you for sharing your recipe Andrea. With all the different flavor pancakes, waffles, and French toast I’ve had, I just realized I’ve never had pumpkin pancakes! Definitely making them this weekend 😀

  5. I found a small ironstone pitcher at the hospice sale yesterday-my first. It is stained a little on the outside, and since you have so many pieces, could you please tell me if there is something that might take the stain off. Thank you-sorry to put this on your recipe video.

  6. Gluten free and yummy. I'll have to make some tomorrow. I also like to add a teaspoon of pure vanilla to my cream. Thanks for sharing!
