Beet Salad
Here is my beet salad a GREAT side to any dish!

Ingredients:
2 – 15oz cans of sliced beets
1 small yellow or red onion sliced thin
1/4 cup feta cheese crumbled

Dressing:
1/2 cup Olive oil
1/3 cup Red wine vinegar
1 garlic clove minced
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano

Recipe:
In a large bowl add your drained beets. Add your small sliced onion. Make your dressing. Olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic clove and your seasoning. Blend it all together add it to your beets. Then add 1/4 a cup of crumbled feta cheese on top mix it up. Put in the fridge for at least 30 min to an hour. And here’s your beet salad simple and delicious.
This can be refrigerated for days. #beetroot #beetsalad #beetjuice

Hi guys welcome back to what’s on my plate so for tonight’s dinner I’m making my roast pork and that is a different episode but I am making a beet salad to go with this roast pork it’s a simple beet salad you’re going to love it it’s quick and easy so let’s get

Started okay let’s get started on this beet salad if you love beets you are going to love this it’s so simple so I have two cans 15 oz each and this is what I’m going to use I’m going to open it up and we’re going to drain it and

When you drain it don’t throw out the juice just drink it cuz it’s so good for you but we’re just going to use the the beets inside so that’s what I’m going to do next okay so here we go I have my two cans of beets they’re open I’m using a

Plastic red cup because the beet juice will stain everything so I’m just going to pour all the juice in here again I’m saving the juice because it’s really good for you to just drink that and my husband loves it he’ll drink this whole cup unless I get to it

First okay so that is my beet juice so here’s my beets we’re going to put them in here okay this is so quick and easy so all my boot beets are in here it’s 2 15 o cans so now what I’m going to do is I’m going

To slice a small onion very thinly I’m going to throw it in here and then we’re going to start seasoning this and it’s done so let’s get to that step okay so what we’re going to need here for um the beet salad is a small onion sliced very thin so let’s slice this

Up and I’ll keep that on the side there so let’s work on our dressing it’s super quick and easy so basically you need a half a cup of olive oil you need 13 cup of red wine vinegar you need about 1/4 teaspoon of pepper so I have to use my little pepper grinder

Here so 1/4 teaspoon and then we’re going to do a half a teaspoon of salt get this um so a half a teaspoon of salt right in there half a teaspoon of oregano and then blend it all up and then we need one clove of minced

Garlic and usually I just use my cheese grater when I do that so I’m just going to do this right there blend all this up Smells great okay and then what we’re going to do is we’re going to get our beets we’re going to add all our onions in here get all of them just like that perfect then we’re going to take our delicious little dressing that we just made and pour it right over mix it all

Up so good and then on top I’m just going to sprinkle a little bit of feta cheese and it’s good to go so this actually the dressing there’s a lot of dressing in here so you can dip your bread in there or just put another can of beets but this is perfect

I’m just going to add the feta cheese and we’re done okay so here’s the salad you know what you can also just use red onion because the color from the Beet is going to get all over the white um and then you just sprinkle a half um actually it’s like a

A qu cup of crumbled feta on top and just mix it in there and that is my beet salad it’s so good even if you just um just drizzle it with olive oil and a little bit of vinegar and some salt you could just do it like that you don’t even need the

Onion or the feta but this just brings it over the top so this is what’s on my plate it’s my side salad my side beet salad to go with tonight’s dinner so I’m going to do a closeup for you thank you so much for watching what’s on my plate

  1. I noticed that the can said No Salt Added.. Good idea, Fetta Has plenty salt in it. Gonna try this for Thanksgiving (probably sooner)
