This American-style bbq chicken slider is the ultimate definition of comfort food. American barbeque is incomplete without bbq sauce and sliders both. The best way to get tender pulled chicken is to use chicken breast and slow cook them in the barbecue sauce. Place the pulled chicken between slider buns with some American cheese, drizzle the sliders with garlic butter, bake and serve. INGREDIENTS

350gAbbie’s BBQ Sauce
1 Tsp Salt
½ Tsp Garlic Powder
½ Tsp Onion Powder
¾ Tsp Paprika Powder
1 Tsp Italian Herbs
3 Chicken Breasts
¾ Onion, sliced
2 Tbsp Butter
3 Tbsp Melted Butter
1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
1 Tsp Parsley
6 Slider Buns
2 Cheese Slices

STEPS

Step 1
In a bowl, add bbq sauce, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and Italian herbs. Mix well and keep aside.

Step 2
In a deep pan, place the chicken breasts along with the sliced onion and pour the reserved bbq sauce on top. Cover the pan and let it cook for 1 hour 45 minutes on low heat.

Step 3
Once cooked, shred the chicken using 2 forks and keep them aside.

Step 4
Add melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley to a small bowl, mix well and keep aside.

Step 5
Place the bottom half of the slider buns on a baking sheet, add the pulled bbq chicken on top followed by the cheese slice and place the top half of the slider buns on top. Drizzle the garlic butter on the sliders and bake in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes at 180°C.

Step 6
Once cooked, remove from the oven, transfer to a serving platter and serve hot.
