Evening in today’s video I will be preparing a full meal consisting of pan seared salmon homemade garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus come along and I’ll show you how I get this done the ingredients that I will be using are potatoes roasted garlic asparagus olive oil black pepper salt butter Creo

Seasoning onion powder and garlic powder I’ve already prepped the vegetables and the meat so the first thing that I am going to do do is to get these potatoes into a pot of water and get them boiled I’ve got my pot of water starting to boil so I’m going to add some

Salt and then I will go ahead and add the potatoes and I am going to let them boil until they are tender while the potatoes are boiling I am going to go ahead and cut the tips off of the asparagus and as you can see that cut very

Easily so that lets me know that everything that’s remaining is going to be nice and tender okay I have a pan lined with foil here and so I’m just going to spread the asparagus and I am going to take some olive oil and just sprinkle the olive

Oil over the asparagus and it does doesn’t take a whole lot because what you want to do is just take the asparagus and just massage it in the oil on the pan just like this to get them nice and coated once you get them nicely coated just arrange them in a single layer

Across the pan so I’ve got some roasted garlic seasoning here that I am going to sprinkle on the asparagus along with a little garlic powder little onion powder I’m going to preheat my oven to 400° next I am going to season the fish with this Creole seasoning and you can

Remove the the skin from your salmon if you wish I like the skin so I’m going to leave the skin on it and flip it over and season the top side as Well the potatoes are about ready so I’m going to go ahead and put the asparagus into the oven that I have preheating at 400° and I will let them roast for about 15 minutes I believe these potatoes are ready and they’re pretty soft so I am going to get them

Drained now that I’ve drained them I’m going to add them back to the pot to the pot I’m going to add a half a stick of butter I’ve got my potato masher here and I’m just going to mash the potatoes down and the butter as well just to get it all

Melted then I’m also going to add a stick of margarine now if you want you can add an entire stick of butter only or you can use margarine only it’s totally up to you what you want to use so I’ll let that start melting I’m going to add some black

Pepper and then I have my roasted garlic and I just roasted this in uh the oven for about 50 minutes so I’m just going to squeeze the cloves out of the heing right into the potatoes this could be a little messy but you can always wash your hands all

Right I’m going to just use the Masher to get the garlic incorporated as well once you’ve Ed your potato masher just take your spoon and just stir it around and at this point you can let it stay as is or you can add a little milk to it to make

It a little bit more creamy and so I am going to add a little milk that’s probably about A4 of a cup of milk that I added to the potatoes and I’m just going to give that a stir in there but if you like more of a chunky

Light texture you can exclude the milk going to give it a taste to see what the flavors are I’m going to add some more pepper and just a little bit of salt I did add salt when I boiled it but I didn’t put a lot in there so I added a

Little bit more salt so the potatoes are ready checked on the asparagus and they’re ready to go as well the only thing left to complete the meal is the salmon so I’ve Got My Pan heating here and to the pan I’m going to add about a tablespoon of butter all right that is

Melted down now I’m going to add my salmon to the Pan and I’m going to let this cook for 5 minutes or so on the one side and then I’ll add some fresh lemon juice and then flip it over and let it cook on the other side and I’ve got a lemon that I’m going to cut in half I’m going to

Squeeze the juice right in the pan with the butter take my spatula give it a Flip and I’ll let it cook on that side for a couple of Minutes FP it back Over and it’s firm so it should be all ready to go so I’m going to get this all plated up and show you what it looks like once I get it all plated and this is what it looks like all nicely plated this was a quick and

Easy meal to prepare my husband and I really enjoyed it my husband just kept ranting and raving about how pleased he he was with this meal I do encourage you to give it a try at home I will leave a list of ingredients in the description box below that concludes today’s video

Thank you so much for watching and until next time be blessed
